Crossfire: Carville Tries To Shout Away Online Primary (And Lamestream Press Ignores It)

CARLSON: ...The true voice of the Democratic Party has spoken, uttering four words that speak volumes: Howard Dean and Dennis Kucinich. They're the big winners of the online primary conducted this week by moveon.org.

The former Vermont governor crushed the rest of the field with about 44 percent of the vote. Congressman Kucinich was distant second, with 24 percent. With the exception of John Kerry's 16 percent, none of the other candidates even made it out of single digits, and low ones at that.

Amazing! Apparently even Carville is so embarrassed by the online MoveOn.Org primary results that he is trying to shout down Carlson on total irrelevances rather than have to face the sad fact for himself.

I also notice that neither ABC World News Tonight nor CNN's Inside Politics had any reference to this SIGNIFICANT primary in their reports today. Could this be an attempt by the media to overlook the embarrassing results?

My hat's off to you for being able to stomach Crossfire. Tell me, did Carville's head spin around while he spewed his green bile? He's become certifiable and I've got zero tollerance for looking at him, much less listening to anything he bellows about.

The bald headed queer lover must be in trouble. He is doing radio and TV commercials for a telephone info company.

The company sounds like it never heard of the internet and is old technology.

If Carville is doing commercials he must be on the outs financially.

They are frothing at the mouth nuts.

Ironically Carville was frothing at his mouth trying desperately to change the subject by shouting down Carlson. He reminded me of a little kid, who not wanting to hear bad news, puts his hands over his ears and screams loudly. It was HILARIOUS to watch.

Carville mentioned on today's show, when Carlson said something about e-mail spam on the web, that he NEVER goes on the Internet.

Don't need Rush to tell us that the left has gone bonkers. They are irrational with their hatred and beyond illogical.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hi, I'm Niria Douglas (ph) from Maine. The topic of do-not call list. What do you think about a do-not e-mail list?

CARVILLE: I don't use the stuff. I don't know how to use a computer.

Carville doesn't "use the stuff" and admits that he doesn't know how to use a computer.

Thank you for posting this. I do not have enough anti-emetics in the house to tolerate Crossfire/Carville and would not have seen Mary Matalin's husband in a panic.

This is important in that, as much as I despise Carville, he is politically savvy when sober. He knows that the Dean and Kucinich phenomenon is a replay of McGovern. D-squared: Dem-Disaster.

It is not a matter of Carville or the media overlooking anything embarrassing. (You cannot embarrass Carville). It is a matter of great political damage to the Dems. All they want is power, and the canny members of the Dem elite know that Dean is not the path to power. End of story.

I am more interested in Hillary Regina's response to all this...is she laying back watching the Dems lemming-like romp off the cliff and counting on 2008, or will she reprise Bubba Rex's lying middle-of-the-road 'New Democrat' charade for a run in 2004? Fun to watch. (More fun to be a fly on the wall of the Matalin/Carville household).

Thanks for the post, sorry I missed all the fun. I did catch the last few minutes and Carville seemed down right misty (compared to his usual behavior) over Strom Thurmond's passing. Was I hallucinating?

Carville "doesn't know how to use a computer?" How pathetic is that? Even 5 year old kids know how to use a computer.

I totally agree. The company is "imphone" and the only reason I remember is that it sounds like ImClone of Martha Stewart infamy.

This reminds me, just the other day... Ben & Jerry's founder named a sundae for Dean but officially endorsed Kucinich.

Big power play in Vermont, or lamest PR stunt ever? You decide.

Ben & Jerry's ice cream founder backs Kucinich: Dean gets maple sundae

"Howard Dean and Dennis (The Commie) Kucinich ? Bwahahahaa !!! "

Yeah but you know what is going to happen. We've seen it twice already. If the rats are losing in the pole the candidate will withdraw at the last moment and the rats will have someone waiting in the wings.

My guess is that if they can get a slugfest going get the public to think bad of both candidates then they will pull the substitute with a candidate that is clean.

If polls show that Hillary has a chance she will take it. If she doesn't have a chance then they will pass to someone else. Lieberman, Gore, somebody who has a better chance than the person who won the primary and yet isn't going to be afraid to lose after a very short campaign.
