Excellent decision. In nearly all cases, I would make for a great selection as an impartial juror, but this is one jury I could not have sat on..

I was listening to the real time defense closing arguements. When the jury came back so quickly it was obvious to Mark Davis and the whole Dallas/Fort Worth listening audience that the guilty verdict was to come!

Sweet.

And of course, the court will pursue additional charges of this being a hate crime . . . she's black/he was white . . . wait . . . that only applies to white on black crimes . . . sorry . . . how could I have made that mistake?

Yes, and this was a racially mixed jury, also, about even slip male-female.

Wow, that was fast. Imagine those deliberations...
"OK. Here we are in the jury room. Any comments?"
"Yup. She's guilty."
"Yup."
"Mm-hmm."
"You betcha."
"Ayup."
"Oh hell yeah."
"Mm, yeah."
"Yep."
"Uh-huh."
"Yes."
"Agreed."
"I agree...OK, that's it. Let's go tell 'em and maybe we can be outta here by lunch."
Good job by that jury for not going for the sympathy angle. Sentencing should be interesting.

Okay...now that she is found guilty , I will go out on a limb and say that the accident wasn't intentional, leaving him out there to die was, but in my heart I can understand panic....
how about 20 yrs?.....she can come out when she is fifty.....

Well she can scream "racism" and have this overturned by the USSC.

And you notice it took everyday, normal people to do it. Not elite life appointed judges.
