Yes, there is, but it seems 2,200 phone voters in Broward Co. Florida tried to vote for Clay, but instead voted for Pat Buchanan.

Clay would be so much more versatile too. Ruben just stands there and sings...that's all he can do because he is just so very fat. But Clay can learn to dance and do musicals..Exactly. In fact, it's funny that you mention musicals. When I flicked on the TV last night (it was the first time I had seen the show -- he was seated, singing a melodramatic ballad of some sort, strongly backlit in a way that slightly obscured his features) I thought for a second that he was Julie Andews! He also reminds me of the lead singer for the band Radio Head. If you blend the two together, you've basically got Clay.

Okay, now you have issued a challenge. I am 51 and I am going to start rehearsals today for the next American Idol!! See you in Hollywood!! :)
To: Howlin
You're not in your twenties. You may not live that long either. It's all a gamble. I say grab it and go.

He's a very talented record producer. He produced and wrote many Journey songs and albums.

I believe the top 10 are under contract to Idol. They will go on a 36 city tour next. My guess is that Simon will hang onto Clay for dear life.

Ruben won because he is BLACK. The white person won last time -- this is OH SO TYPICAL!!!!!!!!!
Sad that this is the case whereever you come from.

I think everyone here is a little too into AI... I think the big appeal was the illusion of normal people at home helping another normal guy or gal be discovered and live a dream.

Was Randy the rotund 'Jackson 5' member?

The FR dilemma is how to rid ourselves of the likes of you.

I won't be watching FOX News tomorrow - it'll be all-Ruben, all day. Sickening.
I would have, I liked both boys, now don't go getting your dander up, don't give your kids the rabid mother look.

They were using the Congressional Budget Office counters.

That's a crock.
The votes were all that matters. No judges decisions and no producer decsions. Unless you are saying they are lying about the votes.

While I'm not putting words in your mouth, it appears, in fact that you are saying that Rueben is a talentless hack (sings off key, no range) who only won the competition because of his affirmative action demographic (I just don't see why it's racist to say that AI had decided a black guy was going to win. He's been their favorite since the beginning.--Post #538) Your words, not mine.....
To: ecurbh
He can't even decide whether to be sharp or flat. He's just all over the place
I don't think he grasped what the win meant until the end and it was like it dawned on Ruben and his entire face changed. I was more concerned about the look on his brother's face.

I just voted for Clay by ordering his CD on Amazon.com.
To: JustPiper
"No he doesn't! If you watch closely you will see that he sweats like a pig and spits while he sings too! You are far too critical."
How old are you? Because my 9 year old granddaughter has more finese'!
Oh no. I feel so small. You are so mean.

Is Katherine Harris looking to implement the automatic ATT recount if Clay Aiken promises no protracted court fight?
