He'll give you the link where you can go and watch. Honestly, it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. There is a link?? .. it must have been pretty wild ..

If there were only 13,000 votes between the two it's probably because the phone system couldn't handle it. If the phones could only answer, say, one million calls an hour, if Clay had 50 million people trying to vote for him while Ruben had only four million trying to vote for him, it wouldn't favor Clay -- the results would still be around 3 million votes each. They should count the number of attempted calls instead. AT&T can gather that number no problem.

I am just in 'shock and awe' of all those performers raw, sheer and abundant talent!

That's the way Ruben has ALWAYS sounded throughout the competition. Maybe just having two contestants last night made it possible for a lot of folks to really listen to Ruben for the first time. If it weren't for the way the judges have WAY over hyped him, I think he might have gone home in a much earlier round. Ruben's voice is OK within a very limited range. By range, I mean both the type of material he can sing well and the octaves he can reach comfortably. Based on what he's done throughout this competition, the music category he fits best is R&B, with heavy emphasis on easy rhythm tunes.

How can this vote possibly be accurate if votes couldn't get through? I think Fox needs to reexamine their system if they want this competition to retain any credibility.

Same here, but in the end, Simon's bad dream was pretty funny

Hey Howlin'
As usual, I was about to shoot a flame into a thread which baffles me.
But, I counted ten, with deep breathing before, I am so glad that y'all can have some fun with this; though it mystifies me, since I have not tuned in.
At times, I have been hooked on TV shows - I can identify; but not the "reality" genre.

Should we all write to Fox and tell them we're "disenfranchised"?
If the phone don't ring, the votes don't mean a thing!

I don't think that's quite how it would work out - remember, the calls come from across America and I'm assuming they 'terminate' (telco term) in a single location therefore there should be a strict percentage of the calls that went through; 10% of 50 million would still stack up well against 10% or only 5 million ...

Saw Ryan talking about that show yesterday. Can't remember when he said it would be on though.
