Foxnews
Posted on 05/02/2003 4:19:09 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Fox and Friends talking about the President yesterday.
E.D.:
"I'll tell you what, Laura has a hottie on her hands. Look how good he looks. We sound like a bunch of cheerleaders for him but he was fantastic! You could tell he looked so stoked and so excited to be there."
Kilmeade: "They said Lincoln was a hottie too."
Doocy:
"If your a Democratic presidential candidate..maybe you should just join a lobbyist group for the next four years or something. Cause I don't think your going to be taking that man's job anytime soon."

There are some men in their 50's (70's -Rumsie) that far surpass physically, romantically, and every which way anything 20 or even 30 years younger. One I picked and got - my husband and the other I supported and voted for - the Prez. Lucky me!

I heard Laura Ingrahm while in Boston last Friday. She pronounced the president as "hot" in the jumpsuit and the women who called in had even more endearing descriptions of the President in his jumpsuit.
So musch for the Limbaugh "arousal gap"!

Laura and George are a beautiful couple. It is comforting to know that even though women are madly attracted to the President, he would never ever consider any of them. He has found the love of his life, unlike other former disgusting Presidents..aka..Bill Clinton

You really need to lighten-up Coop. Uh, yeah. That's my problem. I'm too serious!

"If your a Democratic presidential candidate..maybe you should just join a lobbyist group for the next four years or something. I've held back as long as I can in addressing the misspelling of this word. The correct spelling, as it is used in these sentences is "you're." It is the contraction of the words "you" and "are." The word "your" is a possessive meaning something that belongs to "you."
And while I'm at it, let's get straight on the words "there, they're, and their."
"There" specifies a place.
"They're" is a contraction of "they are," the third person plural of the verb "to be."
"Their" is the possessive denoting something that belongs to "them." /rant
Now, for those of you who are technicians of linguistics, correct me where I have spoken in error, but at least I have said my piece.

No. I just got fed up with the repeated corruption of our language and felt like saying so. I posted it back when I started reading the thread. Sure, it's out of place here at post number 388, but that's the way it goes this time.
Besides, you don't always have to be right, but you do always have to get right, wouldn't you agree?

This morning, E.D. said that Edwards has potential. For what? He couldn't get re-elected to the Senate from North Carolina. He's not going to be elected Vice-president in 2004.
Maybe she means he has a future as an ambulance chasing trial lawyer.

I think W needs to do another "landing on a carrier in a flight suit" one more time. It ticked off the liberals so much before, lets do it again! :)
