Why did you want to see my answer, when you already know?
Why are you asking me if I have a cat, when you know I don't own one now?

Gets DONE with him, that is...

I feel sure that Scott is very glad of his private accomodations.
And being Scott, he probably keeps trying to ring for room service.

And why do you disappear when it's time for YOU to answer a question or two?

"LOL Hey, speaking of arrest..have you heard what the investigators' plans were if they hadn't found their bodies...(of which I agree with whoever said that finding them was a gift from God) Where they going to arrest him without the body" They wanted to MPD but DA sent them packing. No proof of homocide and not enough connect to Scott...

I didn't look into it..--their bankruptcy...
I'm glad you guys did...
Maybe they still had financial difficulties. Housenote, clothes, utilities, groc., newbaby, nursery, clothes, wineclub, new vehicle (note?), boat ($), insurance- life & Health, auto, golf club dues (?), Christmas ($), party's
(?$), girlfriend ($$$).
It's not easy today on one salary.... Although Laci was working part time... not many more ($'s)
To: clouda
OMYGOD!!! That is great!
To: runningbear
RB, I missed that, but I just realized something, Ma and Pa sunk Scotty another way in their little presser today. When they talked about the fact that they were with Scott and Laci the week before this "event" and they were so in love with each other....that just points out what a good little liar and actor Scott is, as that is also the time he was seeing Amber. So keep talking Ma and Pa, the more you talk about how you witnessed how much in love Scott was with Laci that week, the more you sink him.

"It's not easy today on one salary.... Although Laci was working part time... not many more ($'s)" they were I think and that is part of the why she is dead. RT66 did a report of P.O. boxes and on the first page top i saw something which said that Laci had told a friend that her and scott were going to move to San Diego after the baby was born. I don't know for sure..."

I have been following these threads fairly close and the last I heard was someone checked Modesto records and there is no evidence of any bankruptcy. That would be me who has checked Federal Court records for bankruptcy information and found none on Laci and SP. There are no unusual liens or notices on their property in Modesto, either.

DA, I still say he should not have access to a television, nothing at all.

and 2nd mortgages on it. Actually somebody was in error on that. They refinanced the first in December of 2001 and that is the only loan recorded on the house. One poster mistakenly interpreted the Grant Deed from the former owner to Laci and SP to be a 2nd loan on the property. The money for the pool could have come from that refi.
To: RGSpincich
I wonder where he's going to get the money for a defense..
I wonder if he can get a 2nd on the property now... That's what I'd do... or refinance the 1st which ever give me the most $$$.... It's going to cost a lot......
To: juzcuz
He may get sole ownership soon if they were joint tenants, right of survivorship. Absent a court order barring his actions, he could lien the property or issue a power of attorney to one who could act on his behalf to lien the property.

That sounds like WAY too many rights, if you ask me. I wonder if he is still officially employed by Tradecorp? I *almost* feel sorry for the Peterson family, because they ultimately will end up footing the bill for his defense, and it just may wipe them out. And when all is said and done, they'll be broke, and Snott will still be guilty. So much for image maintenance.

Am I missing something here...or does this online interview read exactly like the interview they gave to NBC this morning. Seems scripted to me.
To: Sunshine55
That sounds like WAY too many rights, Potential heirs of Laci have the right to block any liens on property they jointly owned. California law does not allow one to profit from committing a murder. The Laci family members may be the rightful owners of half of that house.
In addition, I have not seen this mentioned but "murder for profit" is included in the special circumstances that could allow the death penalty.
This is big. It's not a stretch to prove that SP was going for savings accounts, trusts or sole ownership of the home. Life insurance is another aspect but maybe not a slam dunk, unless they prove he has planned on waiting the seven years to profit.
