I have read the Koran (in English translation) and am well aware of what is contained therein. I'm also aware of how the collected text was formed. I'm also aware that the fundamental doctrines of Islam are contrary to the Salvation in Christ. That doesn't mean I will accept the Koranic imperative of forced worship and apply it to force adherence to Christianity. If Islam is to be ruled by the fanatical Islamicists, world-wide, then we have no choice but to oppose it with force in order to defend our right to worship as we see fit. It does appear that Mister Graham's public pronouncements would have us jump to a stage which has not been reached as yet. There is still opportunity for those in Islam to reject the historical totalitarian mindset of previous manifestation of Islam. If leadership doesn't emerge which advocates tolerance of other religions, then we will have slipped to the final stage envisioned by the likes of Osama and his totalitarian ilk. Mister Graham's rhetoric works to assist the mindset which seeks to foment a world-wide war of religious ideals. Our leader is The Prince of Peace, but the world of Islam should not take that truth to mean we will not fight their totalitarian cancer rising at the heart of Islam.
