Actually, German technicians have confirmed that Sadaam has been using doubles on TV for over 5 years, and reported last year that there was not a single public appearance in over 3 years that actually was Sadaam.

If Saddam were really alive, he'd be making light of the U.S. attempt to kill him, saying how invincible Allah has made him, blah, blah, blah.

I think I saw 60-minutes or Date-line do a show on him last fall. A real fruit-loop.

Yeah, well I read those stories too. It's crap.

Do you think we are just going to sit in Iraq while Iran builds a nuke over the border? Ooops sorry about the missle that hit your nuke plant, we have no intention of attacking Iran(anymore).
Syria is next. Disgorge the terrorists or pay the price.
It really is time to clean out that neighborhood.

You know, if you look at his beret, it looks a little taller - perhaps concealing a bandage?

Laugh all you want. I'm not saying Saddam is doing it from beyond the grave. He does have others in his regime who are willing to keep using his methods in order to stay in power and defeat the coalition forces.
They DO use the setup technique, Smogger. That's why I referenced the funeral wailing photo thread in my speculation. Yes, I could be wrong, but I do not deserve your smartypants words directed at me. By the way, "Him and OBL" should be "HE and OBL." pffffft!

The satellite uplink could be anywhere in Iraq. It most likely is portable. Their has been no local signal in Baghdad since the power was shut off. Of course portable satllite uplinks run on their own self-contained power. I don't know how many portable satellite uplink dishes are in Iraq, but in the U.S. with over 1600 broadcast channels each owning several, their are many thousands of the units here.

Tariq Aziz maybe many things, but delusional he is not. When Saddam came to power he held a cabinet meeting. One Saddam called out the names of political rivals at the meeting. They were removed from the room and summarily executed. When it was all over there were only a few ministers left in attendnace. Tariq Aziz, who was one of the few remaining, reportedly broke down and cried.

Saddam is alive, and Osama bin Laden is still dead. Saddam is the real deal. Bin Laden was just a religious nutter with a full Rolodex.
