I am wondering if they have bugged out for TIKRIT - That is Saddam's home town and sort of the "Tribal Capital" for the Baathists.

Also, we have been very very quiet about activity in Tikrit - instead centering on Baghdad, Mosul, Basra. Maybe we are letting them all center themselves there where they can be isolated.

Actually you may not be too far off on that. Tikrit is Baath Central, almost everyone supports Saddam and the Regime. If need be we could level the entire City and the rest of Iraq wouldn't bat an eye.
