I was adopted. My older brother told me when I was about 7 that when they got me, I had a brain problem. It was so small they had to have me operated on. They planted this really small brain in my head. It grew over the years and got bigger and bigger and bigger. When it got the size of a BB it rolled out of my ear. I went crying to my mom. I've never forgotten it! Jerk.

Every time France Germany Russia the UN or CNN is mentioned my blood pressure goes up. AARGH

I think half the country is in the same state you are in right now. I most certainly have, and have placed BellyGirl's "HEY FRANCE... SHUT THE H- UP" poster in my car. People compliment me on it constantly. It even seems that the very soft spoken Powell has had enough of their BS.

We convinced a younger cousin that she had a twin who had spontaneously combusted in the hospital nursery.

Quite frankly I will be happy when, not the USA, EU or the UN is running the show, but when the Iraqi people are running the show. Obviously I know the USA will need a interim govner for a while and I do want the USA doing it and not the UN. I hope the USA can get something like what they did in Afganistan set up.

I do wonder though, if the USA will allow the establishment of a new Kurdistan. I doubt it but I do wonder.

I started hearing some of the stories about the poeple in Iraq years ago .. they have been living in complete hell under Saddam ..

IMO .. once Saddam is gone and these people know he cannot hurt them any more .. you will hear the media reporting stories that will make you cry and thank the Good Lord above the we were lucky to have been born in the USA

Reuters lied again. We did meet some resistance. Elements of 4 regular army divisions (or, as Rummy would refer to these guys, "war criminals").

Wolfie just interviewed a reporter for the NYT on the phone who is on the front lines. He says the people are waiting to make sure Saddam is gone to be too demonstrative because they are still a little afraid. He says they tell him when Bagdad falls there will be much joy in the streets. He said it was just amazing. Name was Dexter Finkin IIRC.

From a Bulgarian newspaper,of all places:

Al Gore: I would Never Start This War
War with Iraq: 3 April 2003, Thursday.

I would never start this war if I were President, Former US Vice President Al Gore said via videoconferencing at the Economist Conference "Seventh Roundtable with the Government of Greece", which takes place April 2-4 in Athens.

Al Gore, whose participation in the conference has been prevented by secret services ban on travelling, underlined that he would have tried to deal with Saddam Hussein with all other means available.

James Rubin, former US Assistant Secretary of State, expressed confidence that Saddam Hussein possesses chemical weapons. He described the Iraqi crisis as the hardest trial NATO has faced since its establishment.

Just another reason to thank God that he wasn't elected.
I do appreciate what James Rubin said. Isn't he the same guy that's Christiane Amanpour's wife?
