Yeah, and that was a UN-run war.
If this was a UN-run war, what do you think the chances would have been for Ms. Lynch?

Durn, most of these lil chilren posting here probably grew up with watching the Brady Bunch, and they cannot understand wanting to be a family unit when the spouse is dead.

If this officer is alive, he has a ton of back pay and a couple of promotions coming that he has missed!
To: RetiredArmy
His ex wife received his back pay already.

You're going on and on with innuendo and seeming rumors...go ahead, pitinkie,,,,do tell.

Great book and she answered my emails. The six-part series has been posted on FR.
The bulldog tenacity and uncompromising accuracy of one such reporter is worth more than the thousands of hacks with AP, Reuters, BBC, et al.
Here's to a dead Saddam Hussein and a live Scott Speicher.
How bout them Rangers and Seals?
On to Baghdad and total victory.

If Speicher's alive and with his wife marrying his best friend, it's going to be a genuine "Enoch Arden" situation.
Tennyson's narrative poem tells of a shipwrecked sailor cast away on a deserted island for years. He returns to his village to find his wife married to his best friend.
In the poem, the sailor conceals his identity and rents a room where he remains shut up the rest of his life. He watches his former wife and children walking about through his window till he dies a heartbroken man.

I think Bill Nelson was wrong to bring this to the media today.
I don't think the report is true.
I think he is playing with people's emotions.

Interesting how these remarks are coming from women. So you think its ok to spit on the memory of your dead husband by taking away his name from his kids? Methinks your character might be bad.
To: pitinkie
*I* said something about rumors. If you cannot cough up solid evidence and sources then it IS rumor. Understand?
To: pitinkie
Well, tell us all about this woman who remarried and her husband adopted her children?
A story can be told in a paragraph.

**So you think its ok to spit on the memory of your dead husband by taking away his name from his kids? Methinks your character might be bad. **
heavy sigh.
So tell us, beergut, WHEN did she SPIT on the memory of her dead husband? She thought her husband was DEAD. She remarried. Her new husband did the honorable thing and adopted the children and I'll bet is a wonderful father to them in their true father's absence (due to death).
We don't really even know if Speicher is alive!!! Hello?! What are you? 15? Sheesh. I am in disbelief at the infantile and hateful attitude held by you and a couple others.
