Why are we sending Teenage Girls into the Battle Zone?

Jessica Lynch is known for her smile, her laugh and for loving children so much that she wants to be a teacher. "That smile is all you ever see," Glenda Nelson, a close family friend, said Monday. "No matter what, she always had a smile on her face."
Lynch, who aspires to become a teacher, joined the Army to get an education and because it was one of the few opportunities available in a farming community with an unemployment rate of 15 percent — one of the highest in West Virginia.
Once she entered the service, Jesse, as she is known to family and friends, would often write letters, send e-mail and call home.
The young woman is "every mother's dream of a teenager daughter," said Lorene Cumbridge, a cousin.

You don't know the Pledge of Allegiance?

This is going to unleash an anger in our marines and the Iraqis will wish they never did this. Over the weekend I heard Captain David Christian on Fox News saying that his brothers in the military that he talked to were ready to gear up and avenge this. You are right, and I think the Army and Marines are already big time pissed off, especially about the soldiers who were executed.

She was there because NOW and Hillary Clinton wanted her there and fought for her right to be there. Don't go blaming George Bush.. Blame Bill, Hillary the gang from NOW who have done their best to get that 19 year old on the front lines.

I'm sure this whisp of a girl was a real asset to unit cohesion when things got ugly. I am glad she has your support. It would be horrible if disruptors with unclear motives were to undermine our support for our troops and get us trashing our own soldiers who are missing.

ooops. Sorry...just caught your tagline. You're German, so of course wouldn't necessarily know the Pledge. Sorry. :o/

You really have no idea what you're talking about.

Thank you!

"Because more young men won't sack up and do it."
Plenty of young men would--its just the feminazi's think we're less likely to go to war or finish it if we see teenage girls abused in the worst sort of way. Therefore women are encouraged to enroll--and the limits of combat support were removed.
Assuming white men are the root of all evil in the world, by their own perverse logic, the feminists are correct.
REAL MEN DON'T LET THEIR WOMEN FIGHT THEIR COUNTRY'S WARS.
Under Clinton, there were no real men in charge...
I sincerely hope when this war is reviewed, the abuse of women POW's will be taken into account and policies will be made to make their womens' roles in the military more sane--in spite of the brainwashing of the "equality" feminists.
We should sincerely pray for our men (and women) there....especially those poor POWs. Only God can protect them right now.

Hi moma. I am at home recovering from bronchitis. Trust me, I would rather be working.

All this women in combat stuff can be traced back to
James Earl Carter and Patsy Schroedoer (D) Colordado.
Remember the 70's when the military became a "social experiment". Patsy and Jimmie did an excellent job!!!

"They also rarely have the upper body strength to operate fighter controls right, or more importantly the agressiveness testicals provide. The ones that do, are about the most "butch" type women I've ever seen. Is that a good thing for our nation to sponsor?"
Utter nonsense! Besides, it's testicles. Women are flying all sorts of aircraft in our military, from helicopters to B-52s. They have to qualify in the same way men do. As for your last comment, I must say that you show no respect whatever for our military women. That's a shame, since they are patriots, just as are our military men.

Only a seriously confused, and yes, debased society, puts it's young women in the front lines at war.
It's as sick as abortion or child molestation.
We all know this in our gut.

My youngest daughter just turned 20 and she'll be in No. Iraq (combat medic)probably within a day or two. Why is she there? Because she g**d*** well wants to be. And who are you to say otherwise?
