Don't they have a brig in the military and why didn't they jail the guy when "he was acting weird"? Good question. That would have been a much better alternative than letting him guard the grenades.

After 9/11, the tampa syrian planeboy, the LAX islamic terror attack, john mohammed d.c. sniper they didn't, so why would they now admit what we all know: islam is a satanic death cult, NOT a religion of peace. Your comments are right on in each one of those cases. The mainstream press will treat them as isolated incidents but we all know our first instincts have been correct all along.

"The circular analogy is complete, grasshopper. We couldn't trust the Nisei to raise their hands against the Emperor just like we can't trust Muslims to raise their hands against Islamo-facists."
Again, you don't make sense - We could ( and did ) trust them to fight beside us against the allies of their Emperor.
We would not ( and did not ) put them in a position where they might be mistaken for enemies disguised as our soldiers.
...Or put them in a position where the prejudices of those around them might cloud the mission.
American soldiers of Japanese decent were not singled out by their religion, but simply by their names, or background, or facial characteristics
By your faulted reasoning, only those Shintoists should have been singled out.

There may be Islamic Jihadists serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Islamists for sure.
Here's a happy thought from Middle East expert Daniel Pipes:
Islamists constitute a small but significant minority of Muslims, perhaps 10 to 15 per cent of the population. Many of them are peaceable in apearance, but they all must be considered potential killers.
How does 400,000 to 800,000 -- in our country -- potential killers sound?

In any event, this muslim would have killed somebody had he been allowed to forward with 101. Don't they have a brig in the military and why didn't they jail the guy when "he was acting weird"?
I hope they thoroughly search his gear. Visualize the damage he could have done once the 101 was in range of Baghdad if he had a GPS unit and a radio unit that could talk to Iraqi artillery/missile commander

Waging war against Iraq and al-Qaeda is idiotic if we can't even deal with Islamic enemies in our own ranks. Amen!...will GWB take back our military? I hope and pray he does.

Exactly. And I'm sure they're investigating whether he has training beyond being an engineer sargeant. After all, he knew where the grenades were, etc. The grenades were packed up for moving out. Check out sptimes.com today. They have an imbedded reporter, Wes Allison. It's a one page article that I just don't have time to post.
It's REALLY GOOD ABOUT asan akbar but they are short on details about Captain Siefert. Another article states that Siefert has a wife of four years and an infant.
