After Rally Report from Raleigh NC

We had a GREAT turnout for our Rally for America in Raleigh today. Crowd estimates are between 500-750 people. The weather was great, the speakers and singers were awesome and awe inspiring.

I am SO PROUD to be an American and part of Free Republic. I can't begin to tell you the dozens of people that came up to us today to thank us for sponsoring this rally.

I'll let all that attended post their reports here and I'll have the pictures up soon.

I had to sign up but after doing so I could see them ..... and the captions ..... just fine.

I'm skeptical about registering on sites but figured that if you had so that you could post the pictures then it would be ok for me to sign up to see them ...... :-)

Afternoon! To tell you the truth, the only time I watch WRAL is in the morning between 6 and 7...mostly for the weather, the traffic (although the traffic guy gets on my nerves) and the pets.

I think there's more pro-America rally coverage during the NASCAR races than there is on the news! Maybe the curly-haired "reporter" is actually CIA all your bases are belong to us.

Wonderful! I'm watching C-span as Captain Michael Berryman is telling of his treatment by the Iraqi's as a POW during the Gulf War. It is chilling. God bless him and all the soldiers who are over there now.

The gremlins caught up with me yesterday. After all those pictures I thought I took, nothing would load onto the computer. Those that I have taken today just sitting here at my desk load just fine. I don't know what happened. boy was I mad. I loved all the pictures you put up. I have copied some of them so that we can see what to use in the article we are going to put together for The Paraglide. We will probably pick one or two that really portray the event and have lots of red, white and blue. We know the troops will see them.

I know that we gained a new registered freeper either last night or today. She was the friend with me at the rally yesterday. She is known as Bob's Babe. She hasn't posted yet but when she gets good and riled, I know she will.

My dad said that CNN and/or Fox News showed the Raleigh Pro-America rally today. He did not know I had attended and when I said I did - he was so very glad!!!!!!

Nice to meet you - and interesting info in your report. Yes our wonderful police authorities were ready, weren't they? We expressed only admiration and thanks for their efforts....though we would not have hurt anybody but John Edwards' fake smile......Anyway - they surely were taking extra precautions. That's fine. I think they had to enjoy the patriotic singing and even the speeches. God has blessed our country that we have the freedom to show our support to our nation, our troops, our President!!! and even to have NC's finest protect our right to do so. WOW!
