Is that $25 per round fired, $25 per protestor killed/wounded, or just a $25 fine for the entire department? Oh, for the department. I think that would send the message I want sent. And I'll put the UN in charge of collecting the fine.

They look pretty stupid right now. Let them dig their own grave.

I agree. They are getting under my skin too! I am in Chicago and tonight, 3/20 they blocked Lake Shore drive and Michigan ave. The news said that there was about 4000 of them. I had finals for b-school and I couldn't even get a cab home! We need a big rally for our troops in Chicago!
I was searching to see if there were any people out there tonight and there really wasn't, so I decided that I had better go home.

There is a Rally listed for Chicago on the Rally For America site.
(You'll have to search for the day & location)

Confront them. I, too, am tired of the mindless blather these dirty hippies are constantly spewing. Ever notice the cars with the most peace stickers are always driven by people who are overly aggressive?

Perhaps I should head to the supermarket tonight and get some ammo.

I believe that, since the fall off communism, we have been celebrating a "peace dividend" while all the unemployed marxists in the world have been very busy embedding themselves in our mainstream institutions. They have taken over the education institutions, the press and media, the clergy (particularly Episcopalian) and the Demoncratic party.
These people on the street are there to destroy the civilization that you and I are part of, and intend to replace it with their eco-workers paradise. They are doing it by force and if you don't resist, you won't have a job and maybe not a country. They want to burn it down.
They represent maybe 50,000 of 298 million but they are active and passionate about their cause (read the post about the ELF manifesto) and we are waiting for someone else to do something about it.
If it isn't you or me then who?

I suggest that if police mistreat the protesters we subject the police to the same treatment the
protesters recommend for Iraq. Send them a strongly worded statement condemning their actions
and threaten to issue another strongly worded statement if they do it again!

Yes, they get under my skin too, not because they disagree but because they lack the dignity of those they oppose, and because they don't see America as family. The strongest tie that should always bind families is that they may criticize one another in private, but NEVER when presenting to the outside. Their version of fairness grants our own no quarter, and would bend over to excuse and understand those who would criticize us.
Excellent commentary here that I found earlier from a local commentator in Seattle.
Confusion? Hypocrisy? Or Both?

My brother's headed over the Throgs Neck bridge tomorrow on the way home to New York. Police will be superfluous if they lie down in front of his car but an ambulance or two might be in order.
He's never learned to control his temper.

The majority of the "peace" protesters are uniformed losers probably getting high and/or drunk while acting like followers. It is the organizing communists that we need to isolate and FRAG.

I would think anyone protesting in NYC might be asking for an a$$ kicking considering 911?
Is there, or have there been "peace" demonstrations there?
