Damn, damn, damn! I've got to do a little threadjacking here. Bear with me.
I'm deaf and must use closed captioning to understand the news. MSNBC and CNN caption their news on the weekends while Fox does not. Fox News is leading in the ratings so you would think they would have the means to provide captioning on the weekends. I've emailed Fox News countless times to no avail. Even asked the Dosers to bombard them with emails which they did. Still no captioning. Now that war is definitely around the corner, I'm going to be stuck listening to the nitwits on those two liberal stations on the weekends.
So, since there are quite a few of you here on this thread, can you help out a fellow freeper and email Fox News and request or demand captioning on the weekends??
I'm going nuts from listening to Woodward, Wolf, Williams, etc... Help me!!
Thank God for FR or I'd definitely lose my sanity.
Thanks and now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

News nets showing Bush greeting people behind a barrier at the airport, shaking hands, many pictures and excited people. Rare sight after 9/11 - looks very nice. Wolf on CNN said they are probably from the US miliatry base on the Azores.

Attempt on life of Saddams eldest son Uday at al-Jadayira Boating Club on the Tigris River.

LOL! Your right it would be a quick operation. Well as long as the UN or NATO was not involved.

Done.

Tierney may be right, though he is also somewhat goofy. I think he went to Iraq in a support role, not as an actual inspector. Regardless, if I have Colin Powell telling me that the aluminum tubes are made to a higher grade than necessary for their reported use, and El Baradei saying something different, I will go with Powell. The IAEA has been wrong in Iraq before, behind in Iran and didn't seem to know what was up in North Korea.

You may be right, but Blair is one of the most articulate and persuasive politicians I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. He made the case at the summit much more clearly than Bush. Not to me which is why I'm sticking with Dubya. Blair's case is limited to disarmament and no matter how smooth he sells it, I'm not buying.
Regime change or bust.

Fox just reported that opposition groups in Iraq have already blown up a railroad line and are droppling leaflets.??? I missed that. Damn chili requires stirring don't cha' know!

Thanks so much. Why do they keep pulling the rug out from under us on these feeds?

Regime change is a demand Bush abandoned long ago. Sorry about that. I suspect however that the demand will be renewed by Bush in the next 24 hours. I suspect Blair will be reminding France of that very soon; perhaps he is on the phone to Chirac as we speak.

Regime change has been the policy of this country since 1998. I think it isn't discussed openly because it one of the chief reasons France, Germany and Russia oppose the use of military force. They believe that our objective isn't to just disarm Iraq but also to get rid of Saddam.

I should think the grass on x42's grave to be permanatly yellow.
However, I do think he will insist to be buried way above ground for the pi**ing reason. (I'm sure this has gotten back to him by now.)

The IAEA has been wrong in Iraq beforeThat very thing was said this morning on the talk show I was watching (can't remember if it was Cheney or Powell - I was switching channels back and forth - I believe it was Cheney) - said with all due respect, the IAEA has been wrong many times before and they've said nothing to convince me that they are right this time.

I bet Blair talking about a couple more days was referring to giving Iraq a couple more days....that is what makes sense anyway.
