Saddam is already holding Chirac hostage - has promised to reveal the French connection if he doesn't stop the war.

Unfortunately, Chirac performed his "duty" with such fervor that, even if he ultimately only stopped the UN, not the war, Saddam is probably at this moment shredding evidence of France's continued violation of sanctions.

Saw the conference of the Fab Four - overall liked the resolve and unity. New to this thread and haven't got a clear explanation from TV yet: What exactly is the UN SC voting on tomorrow? Was there a new resolution spelled out, or the one proposed last week, or Blair's proposal of benchmarks?

I'm behind on the thread now so sorry if this has been reported: Blix has issued a statement saying the Azores conference seemed divided. The reporter on Fox expounded and said Blix said he can't believe he watched the same conference others did, as he's hearing reports of the "united front" presented at the conference and he thought it was divided.

I think I have figured out what Blix will do in his next career. He has been auditioning for it for awhile now and it just hit me...He is going to join CNN as a reporter.
