To be honest, it made me nervous.
But then you know me.

I would think so. I wouldn't hesitate to throw one on my Weber.I would close the vents to where they were barely open and slow cook it while throwing some hickory or Mesquit(sp)chips on the charcoal for a smoked flavor.

I think Hussein is beginning to think Bush means what he says...
To: All
Bush has the backbone, Blair the rhetorical flair. Combined their alliance will go down in history as the point in time when the roadmap for the century was drawn.

Hussein COULD give his people peace/no war if he weren't thinking of trying to keep his own power. This self-centered despot has robbed them of everything and taken it for himself. He deserves to die; they do not.

Interesting, though, that this show of unity by the "Atlantic Alliance" was quite understated, even weak. The inclusion of Spain and Portugal had a whiff of tokenism, and many allies who are already on board -- Italy, the Baltic states, Japan, Australia -- weren't brought into play, even though that could easily have been arranged. They want the vote to fail, is my guess. That will set up the need to broker the UN's replacement, which will be the work of many months, and the national topic of conversation all this summer. Meanwhile, Bush has run out the clock on an invasion -- the "blazing heat of the Iraqi summer" stories are already popping up -- so it will be a trivial matter to ease off the "imminent war" talk as we switch gears and deal with the fallout from the UN's collapse. Nicely maneuvered, I must say.

Laurie Dhue reported that Iraq is preparing for war as if it's going to happen in the next hour.

True, true. He's a closet lurker I am sure, and with big doings like this, I think I am safe.
Darn, gotta run to the store, will check back.
BTW thanks for the crockpot link, I have it bookmarked. :-)

If he will distribute food the same way he did in the "Food for Oil" program, a new palace will be started within the next hour.

A little levity in times of peril can be a good thing! These are times of great pearl. Good to have FR right now: radio news on the hour mentioned the Azores summit, but it would be impossible to know what is really happening from what their news report said.

Anyone hear Shep read Blix's comment? Something to the affect that the conference was a bit divided.

Sadam is distributing food rations to the Iraqi people, enough to last until the end of the war. I wonder how many days rations they are getting? I suspect it will cover breakfast and lunch.
ROTFLMAO! You see? Our liberation of Iraq has already been begun by Hussein himself. When was the last time Saddam distributed food to his people?

Sounds like there still might be some small disagreement that they've pushed aside while the train is leaving the station. You are right! Bush, in his statements about the UN and FRANCE tells the story. What Blair had to say, was political cover. Bush is Blair's underpinning.

We got your point the first half dozen times you posted the exact same thought.
