I don't believe that any of the countries which stabbed us in the back should be involved in rebuilding Iraq. We have enough Partners to do that without them.

ANOTHER Broadway show that has very appropriate songs! Les Miserables is one of my favorites.

Many thanks for the C-Span link -- as soon as the conference started, we had a wild and sudden thunderstorm here, knocking out satellite reception -- kind of surreal.

Thanks again!

Saddam has committed numerous crimes against humanity throughout the entire term of his regime. Such tyrants must never be allowed by the world community to control weapons of mass destruction which threaten people both within and without Iraq's borders. Saddam is a serial mass murderer. Mass murderers cannot be rehabilitated.

Anyone who thinks he can deal with that type of a personality has to be absolutely mad.

The use of military force to remove this plague against humanity is long overdue.

How do you say "You can't cash a losing ticket at the winning window" in French and German?

Churchill was out pretty quickly after WW2, IIRC.

You know what's funny about FoxNews?

Morton Kondracke is one of their "liberal" voices!

That guy had his liberal tumors radiated down by 90% in the last eight years.

Liberalism is a disease. It can be cured.

Go Morton!

How do you say "You can't cash a losing ticket at the winning window" in French and German?

In WWII, the expression was "Nuts."

so what is going to happen with this emergency meeting on Tuesday with UN

It better be rescheduled to Monday. Otherwise it is totally irrelevant.

Bush told Saddam that Saddam has tomorrow to decide. Also tha the UN decision (if there is one) has to be to enforce its resolution to make Saddam disarm. Disarm NOW, right NOW. This is it. No more delay, not more than 24 hours from this instant for Saddam to be fully disarmed. The UN will not provide any cover for delay.

Also, Germany is saying that the US will crawl back to the UN following action to ask for help in re-building.

A little levity in times of peril can be a good thing!

Blix's next job will with Expedia.com.

I think that he should replace the mortgage guy who gets beaten out by Ditech.com.

He is saying the UN will be irrelevant to security matters. Which is true. If we cut funding to the UN, it would just die. It couldn't survive without our money.
