Hi All! Report from the Rally: Glenn Beck said from the stage that we had 25,000 people in Centennial Olympic Park for the Rally! It was incredible! The signs were fantastic - lots of anti-French signs: "First Iraq, then France", "Screw Jacques Chiraq" and others! I have tons of pics to post if I can figure out how to get them up! GOOD JOB GEORGIA!

The following is an unpaid political annoucement:
Come to the rally in NYC, the home of the ground zero, Muslim- soon-to-be slave owners, (namely us), attacks on our beautiful city.
Speak now or forever hold your peace.
The rally in NYC
John, could you please mega ping this? We need numbers. Thanks!
Be there or be square! (Enslaved)

Nicole! Sorry we didn't find you there. We were on the hill to the left facing the stage. It was a great turnout!
Here we are meeting at the corner. That's EarlyBird, my friend, two of RobFromGA's children and RobFromGA,.45Man and Dansangel.
This one has me in the pic.
You can see .45Man, my friend, RobFromGa and EarlyBird watching the stage.
A distance view, at the start of the rally. This lawn had quite a few people on it by the end of the rally.
Dansangel, .45Man, my friend and RobFromGA.
FreedomPoster with one of his signs.
I got the guy on top of the setup truck to take pictures for me. This was at the first of the rally, so it doesn't show the whole crowd that finally got there.
Another view from the truck.
And another.
I got on the wall next to the CNN cameras and managed to get two pics, which are merged together here, before the policeman saw me. The second is the third in the series but I snapped it as I was sitting down ready to jump down off the wall.
It was a GREAT rally, and so fun to be there with other FReepers.

I wonder who put up that big flag on the building in the background. I applaud whoever made that decision.

We were going to take Marta but decided that we would be able to get back faster if we drove. Next time I will make sure that all of you have my cell phone number. I wish that I had thought of that before.
But it WAS a great rally.

I was there and saw a group of 6 students from Dunwoody High School. They had some great signs,
one said "Don't trust the UN to protect the US" another one read:
Aircraft Carrier $1.7 Billion
Cruise Missile $1 Million
Peace and Freedom PRICELESS!
another good one "Lasting Peace through Victory!"
They said they've been on FreeRepubic.com and I told them to look for the Pacifists are the Parasites of Freedom" sign.
Did anyone see the Red white and blue toy poodle? The owners had a sign that said "There's no French in our Poodle" They were featured in the CNN story.
GREAT RALLY! WAY TO GO ATLANTA!!!

Thanks for the pix. Its' great to see everyone!

Our most heartfelt congratulations from The Houston Chapter Of Freerepublic (HAT). Im sure there were no dry eyes down here in Houston when our members read this.
Bubba, Florida, and all that other crapola was just a warm up for this. Lets Roll!
BTW CNN just said there were only ten thousand people at the rally. No bias in the media? What a pantload.

Excellent idea, otherwise, how do we know where to meet, let alone, who is a freeper?
(I thought there MIGHT be a secret handshake for those who have been freepers since 98, but I didn't think we were resorting to tatoos on our foreheads!)

I think that building is part of the Atlanta Merchandise Mart. We were thrilled to see the huge flag hanging there. :-)

Hey! I had 2 sick kids, and didn't get to make it. We almost just packed them up anyway, but yikes! That would've been messy! I'm kinda in a funk because of it, but I love the Pictures! Thanks, I've been waiting all day for them!
My sweet sweet hubby is making us a special dinner because of the miss, I hope the sick 2 are in bed long enough so we can enjoy it!
Y'all did super-dee-dooper, fantiddly-dastic! I just hate that I missed y'all!
To: LBGA
Hey, you need to put up a pic of yourself so we can see you! You won't believe it - Patti emailed me on Thursday! She was going to come with us to the rally but had sinus surgery so she was feeling bad - I was so glad to hear from her!
To: Aquamarine
Thanks, Aquamarine. Wish you could have been here. :-)

Yeah, I really liked that one, too. I saw the two guys on the truck and got the idea to get a good crowd shot to send to my son. Poor guy, I noticed he was taking pictures for people constantly after that. I had to climb up on the tailgate and he had to lie down to grab my camera. He got quite a bit of exercise at this rally. :-)
I'm crashing early tonight as I am still trying to get over the food poisoning that hit me yesterday. I'll check back in in the morning. What a great rally! I wouldn't have missed it for anything!

she is in the second picture of her post #124, third from left...
Looking at these pictures more, there might be 20k here total. (As a Tech Fan, it was louder than a Grant Field full of George P. Burdell's-- can you believe there is such a FReeper?)
