FoxNews Alert just reported that Iraqi troops have left Baghdad with heavy artillary and are heading south to the Kuwaiti boarder. More troops with SCUD missle launchers are heading west. The thought is that Saddam is about to attack our troops.
This is breaking news and details are few and far between.

Looks like Saddamn is in a hurry to meet the promised virgins in the afterworld ...

That's it saddam. Line em up in the desert and then make our day Reportedly, the Serbs debriefed Saddam on how they used decoys when BJ Bill was lobbing Missiles from 15,000 feet up. Maybe Saddam is moving decoys into place.

do we need a un resolution to return fire if fired upon?

Everything is under control , and you can take that to the bank .

I don't think they allowed for Turkry not getting on board and now they are moving ships to the Red Sea
I don't think that was planned for and hope it ain't a race against time

A LOT of diplomatic moves were NOT anticipated and things aren't going as Bush thought they would back in January

do we need a un resolution to return fire if fired upon? As Samuel Jackson was once quoted while acting as a Marine unit commander our response in the field will be :

I did read an interesting piece tonight on one of MadIvan's threads pointing out that the strong winds do help render the chems and bios less effective. I hadn't considered that, and
nothing is acceptable about Saddam using chems and bios... but for what it's worth.

Don't forget. Saddam ordered uniforms which match ours to produce pictures of "atrocities" committed by the US. Be prepared for much disinformation coming from Iraq. Well, actually, it all is!!!

We would not hesitate to hit a Scud if we saw it, no matter where it is.

Today, an inspector was killed in an "auto accident". Had he stumbled onto something?

All you have to do is examine the situation. Saddam has all the world (except us) running interference for him. What could he possibly gain from launching an attack against us at this point? Considering the reason why the rest of the world is running interference for Saddam, if he waits until we do attack, he might not succeed in destroying his near-neighbor to the west.

I've heard with the warmer weather it's more difficult for our troops to wear chemical gear. Don't know how valid that is in reality, but it makes sense.NBC gear is dreadful to wear in any weather, but in heat is the worst. It's tolerable in cold weather, but when you have to put that mask on, it's stifling and miserable.

Yeah the diplo part of this endeavor has turned out badly. Could be a career-buster for Powell IMO.

By him placing his missiles there in that area after his radar in that area has been taken out, just seems like he's baiting the US. Like, he saying OK take these out too.... Why????
