Prayer List of Our Troops

Several of us who have been meeting on the Yellow Rose of Texas prayer threads have been discussing the need that we have for a prayer thread devoted to our troops. Freepers can post names and pictures of their loved ones in the armed services here. We can post our prayers and best wishes for them and their families here in a central place.

We are in the beginning stages of planning the thread. Please, if you have a loved one, post his/her name or pseudonym below, along with a picture, if you wish, so that we can begin work.

Please ping your friends to this thread. We are trolling for names of our troops to pray for.

One prayer warrior, volunteering for duty!!

I have no immediate family members at risk, but will gladly offer up prayers for anyone in need.

Please add SFC Sarah Augustine to our prayer list. She was activated shortly after the holidays and arrived somewhere in Kuwait last week. Sarah is a co-worker who has become a dear friend. I pray for her protection, as well as for that of all of our troops.

I am also most fervent in my pleas for wisdom, fortitude and guidance for President Bush and his advisors.

So last week I'm at work and in the middle of working in my machine, when this voice comes and says "PRAY FOR THE MEN IN KUWAIT...NOW!"
And here comes this thread....one might almost suspect a plan of some sort.
