Shiver along with the D.C. Chapter, FReepers from across the country, other patriotic Americans and Iraqi exiles as C-SPAN broadcasts the Patriots Rally For America IV today at 1:05 p.m.
Recorded yesterday at the cold, fog-shrouded, snow-covered grounds of the Washington Monument, the rally held to support our troops, President Bush and the American policy on Iraq features former Rep. Bob Dornan, Aziz Al-Taee, Blanquita Cullum, John Armor, James Parmelee, Kevin Martin, Adam Ramey and yours truly.
Also featured are singers Cullen Martin, Stephanie Souders and, from Nashville, Lowell Shyette.
The program, if shown in it's entirety, should run three hours and fifteen minutes.
Get some hot chocolate ready, pop some popcorn, put on your red, white and blue sweaters and get ready to root for the home team: the men and women serving in our Armed Forces.
EAGLES UP !!!

I went back and reviewed my responses to you in FReepmail. The worst word I used is "ass."
I say again, You Lie.

If I could tell the World just one thing...
It would be...that "We'll be OKAY!!" And we will!
Thanks for these words.

If you just want laurels thrown...run a better race. The good Doctor countered: I'm running in the race, you're sitting on your ass there sweetie cups. Come on, show us how it's done and volunteer to take on one of these tasks.
Put up or shut up time sweetie cups.
To which I must add (for the few nattering nay-bobs): Take a look HERE and tell us again how our piddly little rally was such a sad and embarassing event. It was aired on CSPAN on Sunday, right? So, according to the naysayers' assertions that it was a failure - because we had a small turnout here in DC, where the city is something like 90% liberals - FR daily stats should not be showing the massive increase in new sign-ons for Sunday that it does.
A note to all FReepers who may be a bit disillusioned by the smaller numbers we all have had at our rallies across the country: Let not your hearts be troubled (OK, so I stole the line).
Keep up the momentum you all have going, plan more rallies - big and small - go out to busy intersections with your signs. People are taking notice of you (us). Local newspapers are writing about the rallies now. Some of you lucky folks have radio stations who are jumping onto the bandwagon that you guys started, and they are now "sponsoring" these events. All the better for our cause (our country). If you guys didn't start this ball rolling (bigtime this past weekend), do you think the radio stations would have come up with the idea themselves? I don't think so.
Don't stop now; we're all running the race just fine. Let's keep on moving!
DIS-missed!

Oh, but you took it out of context. Repeat the entire expression. Or are you afraid you might get banned. It is obscene.

If that bus to VF comes through, I'm sure TGSL will ping you.

Absolutomento! < saluting over here in Indy! >
BTW-When we lived in Severna Park for a couple of years-end of 95-97-I noticed I was in a Republican enclave!
Ron Smith, radio talk show host the station (can't remember the station's letters or AM location)-mostly libertarian, I think-was very popular there. And Lester Kinsolving, a wonderful radio jock, out of Baltimore, has major audience of vets and would be a terrific speaker at a rally down the road, and then there is Tom Marr-who is also a radio host heard in DC (but used to be out of Baltimore-not sure what station is is with now-it might be the same as Les Kinsolving's.
These good men would surely be willing to advertise a patriot's rally and might help with Beck's Valley Forge effort if professional jealousy isn't in the mix. At the very least, folks in your area could call in and state the rally on the air. Wish I could remember the station letters and AM locations. Listened to Tom Marr around noon as I was driving 70 off the turnpike in Penn towards DC. He is terrific!

"I am sitting here all atwitter waiting to find out from someone who is so self-congratulatory they can't tell their ass from a hole in the ground." Afraid of what? Being banned for this?
Sorry Teri. Go stalk somebody else.

I talked w/ Les Kinsolving a couple of days before the rally. Tried to get through to Marr, but could not get past the screener.
As far as Smith goes, he is opposed to the war. His logic is specious at best.

That's supposed to be "obscene"? Gee whiz. Little old ladies on my block use coarser language than that.

The expression is obscene and crude which is why I don't use it. But then your standards are obviously lower than mine.

Thank you for your kind words. I'll see you in Valley Forge in two weeks, right?
We might even be able to find a restaurant that 40 or so of us can go to after the FReep!
