PATRIOTS RALLY FOR AMERICA IV ON C-SPAN TODAY, 1:05 P.M. EST, 3/02/03
C-SPAN ^ | Sunday, March 2, 2003 | Kristinn

Posted on 03/02/2003 5:36:42 AM PST by kristinn

Shiver along with the D.C. Chapter, FReepers from across the country, other patriotic Americans and Iraqi exiles as C-SPAN broadcasts the Patriots Rally For America IV today at 1:05 p.m.

Recorded yesterday at the cold, fog-shrouded, snow-covered grounds of the Washington Monument, the rally held to support our troops, President Bush and the American policy on Iraq features former Rep. Bob Dornan, Aziz Al-Taee, Blanquita Cullum, John Armor, James Parmelee, Kevin Martin, Adam Ramey and yours truly.

Also featured are singers Cullen Martin, Stephanie Souders and, from Nashville, Lowell Shyette.

The program, if shown in it's entirety, should run three hours and fifteen minutes.

Get some hot chocolate ready, pop some popcorn, put on your red, white and blue sweaters and get ready to root for the home team: the men and women serving in our Armed Forces.

EAGLES UP !!!

Awesome!!!

I wish you all the best!! And after looking at the 2000 election results for the congressional polls I'm encouraged for you. Only 31% of the democrat voters turned out while 40% of the Republicans turned out.

http://www.elections.state.md.us/past_elections/2000/turnout/primary_cd02.html

If you can increase the voter turnout, or get some absentee ballots into the hands of the republican electorate (like the democrats tend to do) with a sample ballot I bet you could make it.

Good luck :-)

Good to see you yesterday, friend. Hope your foot gets better soon. Didn't I warn you about wearing those tight skirts and spike heels?

I'm coming late to the thread today and am seeing some talk at the frustration in numbers at the rally.

I think you all did a fantastic job in putting together the rally. I came down from Philadelphia yesterday to attend. I was impressed at the professional staging of the event, and the speakers were quite moving. My favorite part was Susanne (?) singing her own composition. I didn't sign in or interact very much, but I felt compelled to be there for all the previously stated reasons.

Thanks for affording me an opportunity to do something to let our troops know we support them.

Waiter... one slice of humble pie please! Heavy on the ham!

But, seriously. . . if we can't admit when we're wrong, then we are no better than those we oopose, right?

All I want is to be able to do my part and fight the good fight along side you, my brothers.

At one point, I was standing next to a couple who came to our rally all the way from Pontiac, Michigan! (They probably weren't as cold as the rest of us.) I didn't get their names, but I hope they're reading. Thank you for coming all that way to support our troops and our country.

Second that emotion. Here's a link to The Washington Times article about the rally (http://www.washtimes.com/metro/20030302-19108312.htm). I am reliably informed that there ther is a wonderful picture of me in ther print edition. Unfortunately it didn't make it on to the web site. Boo Hoo.

It keeps the blondes from cutting holes in the monitors you handsome hunk.

If there was a massive event, I would put my law books down, put off studying, and haul my butt down to D.C. to join with the rest of you guys.

Jim any chance the screen name "Me Too" could be made available for Mr. Stein?

You seem OK.

My first post to you (positive) was real-- I think we can make anything happen if we really want it. Good luck.
