CHUCK SCHUMER
IS
WEARING
MAKEUP!!
Has anyone else NOTICED this?? He's on the Senate floor, decked out in a "Best Boy" suit, his hair neatly coiffed, and it is OBVIOUS he's wearing some dark toned base makeup--either that or he's been spending the last three days in a tanning booth!Hey
CHUCK!
you ain't foolin' anybody, clown! You're a card-carrying anti-Constitutionalist Liberal Freedom Hater!! And we all know it! All the makeup in the world won't cover THAT up!

Another great part of this is the Pubbies can silence the RATs on other issues just by keeping Estrada alive. Some are itching to talk about the war:
Second vote unlikely on Iraqi war
(snip)
Kennedy's resolution would urge Bush to request another Senate resolution before a war, while Byrds would urge him to seek United Nations approval before initiating any military action.
Neither senator has ruled out forcing a floor vote on the issue. But a continuing Democratic filibuster of the nomination of the nomination of Miguel Estrada to U.S. Court of Appeals to the D.C. Circuit is also having the effect of keeping the Senate from considering another such resolution.
According to a Democratic leadership aide, that can't happen until the Senate takes up an amendable vehicle, adding that Sen. Bill Frist (R-Tenn.), the majority leader, hasn't called one up.
WIth so many judges in the Queue, they can do this for the next TWO YEARS.
What a gift the RATs gave us when they got rid of Lott !!!

From the WSJ today..... an excerpt RE: Estrada
Here's what some former colleagues -- all Democrats -- have already had to say about Mr. Estrada.
Seth Waxman, former Solicitor General: "During the time Mr. Estrada and I worked together, he was a model of professionalism and competence." And, "In no way did I ever discern that the recommendations Mr. Estrada made or the analyses he propounded were colored in any way by his personal views."
Drew Days III, another former SG: "I think he's a superb lawyer." Mr. Days's signature appears on performance reviews giving Mr. Estrada the highest possible rating -- "outstanding" -- in every category.
Robert Litt, former Deputy Assistant Attorney General: "I have never felt that the arguments he made were in any way outside the scope of legitimate legal analysis."
Randolph Moss, former Assistant Attorney General: "He has a near-encyclopedic knowledge of the law, a powerful intellect, and an ability to bring coherence to even the most complicated legal doctrine." ....Mr. Schumer said the other day that "If Mr. Estrada were a mainstream conservative, I would vote for him." If that bore even a casual relationship to the truth, the Senator wouldn't be so clearly avoiding the testimony of fellow Democrats who will tell him that is precisely what Mr. Estrada is.

Asking fake questions of Schumer.
Reid and Chuckie are acting like they are in a deposition. LOL! I've met and dealt with many lawyers. I have only met two that were smart. These two are not.

Schumer just complained that Estrada has a good job already and probably makes in the six figures (class warfare tactics again) and instead the Senate should be worried about getting jobs for unemployed Americans.

Did you happen to see when it was time for Sen Sarbanes question, the CSPAN camera briefly showed that he was fast asleep, and the chairman had to quickly use some verbal finesse to call on a different senator, it being the dim's turn.
Can you imagine being the president of a country, submitting to this kind of a grilling and to have an ignorant senator sleeping right in front of your face! He is fom my state, so I will apologize for him!

Chuckie: When
I go back, and talk to
MY police chiefs and
MY fire chiefs......
What is he, some kind of king in NY? He owns the chiefs? Hitlery isn't going to like that!

Thanks for pointing out that Schumer is wearing makeup. He has that certain glow
I thought his blood-pressure was rising.
Schumer thinks idealogy should matter when appointing judges.
Schumer just cannot shut his mouth

This fake questioning reminds me of the fake conference phone call with Gephardt and Daschle and Gore during the Florida recount. They are SO LAME!
And that thing with the questions about if we are safe from a nuclear missile has me absolutely livid!!!
I switched from Fox when they went to the Blake murder case. I would prefer a rerun of the President's speech or Brian Killmeade's interview with Jeanine Garafolo.
And what is this crap about snow?"????
Bring out the hook!!!
To: Mo1
It is snowing on the inside.....classic.
To: Mo1
Maybe when he finishes, the Repubs will read the letter from the President.
To: Dog
yup - that was great.
