I think the sleep deprivation is working on me... oh dang, I really need some sleep. This is sad as I've worked for docs for years and understand Frist and his stamina.

Look at Frist...he is just awesome! I can tell he is serious about this. He WILL get Estrada confirmed and when the filibuster is on, he WILL make the dems talk days on end with no rest. It will make for some great 04' campaign commercials in my view...dems reading out of phone books and magazines when the country is at war, trying to block a well qualified hispanic nominee. I hope the RNC is taping C-span

No. He would need to require the Senators presence. This process is just to keep the floor by the R's. But it is interesting that the R's are showing that they have the stamina to stay at the floor talking most of the night.
I think we are seeing the R's let the rats know they are ready to rumble without really rumbling.

What on earth can the Dems really gain from this? They are being hammered in the press. Their objections have been exposed. Its a pain to us but what other motive? Please don't tell me they are working from a Chirac hand book! They can't win, and they should be starting to realize this. Frist is a horse, and he's beginning to kick them to death....

I would just love to know who did that to her!! From what I remembrer it was a women on her staff who turned them in.
Did she consult Hiliary beforehand? Who knows.
Is she still alive? No idea.

Oh H377 read em Frist.
To: PhiKapMom
Sorry, I mis-typed. I read here that he worked for the law firm that represented Bush-Cheyney in 2000 fight. Is that correct? And that is just another reason why they are so adamant that he go down.
To: MEG33
I was thinking that if the Rats cave here they lose 'em all.

Hillary has the political skills of a rock, every Slick Willie catastrophe was based on a Hillary decision. She may be book smart, but in the street she's a total idiot. Her tactic is to push as hard as possible in the direction she wants to go and step back when she loses. You know, the old marxist maxim -- two steps forward, one step back.

If he starts reading receipts that he has stuffed in his pockets, this could get good. And the comments on the back of his drivers license. Do you want to be an organ donor? Do you wear corrective lenses?
