channel 13 did a longer piece on this than they did last week. However, they did show a clip of the peacenik rally last week. The dude without the coat looking like he was freezing is the student who put it together
Robb, where was your coat!!!!!!!!!!
To: RummyChick
channel 13 interviewed a man who has a son who is in kuwait...he could hardly hold back the tears
if anyone knows who that was ask them if they want the soldiers name put on the canteen here for care packages.
To: Khepera

Thanks so much for sharing these images. It is great to see more and more of the "silent majority" stepping up and publicly demonstrating their support for our troops and our country.
Complacency is a luxury freedom-loving Americans can ill afford. God will bless you for your service to our nation. I can offer nothing but my humble gratitude.

Someone needs to post these pictures on Sheryl Crow's forum. Some of her fans seem to think the anti-war movement is a lot bigger than it is.

Well, I spent most of the rally in Greenwood because some doofus couldn't handle driving in rain and blocked Northbound 31. There were enough people downtown that the police closed Monument circle to traffic. It was a great day to be an American (and a Hoosier).
To: Mr. Lucky
It wasn't me,I would have took I65;).I'm so proud of you hoosiers. It is so snowy and wet here.

A rally in support of the men and women of the United States Armed Services attracted thousands of participants. The event was held downtown at Monument Circle at noon on Saturday.
"We want our fighting men and women to know we are behind them," said the event's organizer, Rob Greene.
David McIntosh, a 2004 Candidate for Governor, also spoke at the rally. Other featured speakers include State Senator Luke Kenley and Indiana's most decorated Marine, Don Myers.
Hoosiers from across the state attended the rally...

Hey-we'll all meeet up next rally if the anti-nuts get too vocal again! HEHE Ya know-it was that kind of day where you could walk up to a vet and say Thank You and they knew and you knew it was heartfelt all the way around! The beautiful faces in Klep's link to the full spread of pics just touches the ol ticker!
BTW_Here in Fishers we are having a major blizzare with warnings not to drive.....it is unreal out there-think we are already looking at around 8 inches and it is still blowing sideways and getting nastier by the second. It is beautiful. No Doubt. Just wish it were not so hard on the creatures outside.

Down in Mahalasville, this is the sort of night we bring the dogs inside and put the beer outside.
To: Mr. Lucky
LOL! Yeah. Our four legger lives inside anyway, tho she stays out as much as possible! And the beer-yeah-the weather is perfect for that! (But truly-I was referring to the deer who transverse the huge farmer's field behind our back yard, and the other creatures who struggle enough as it is!)
