USO Canteen FReeper Style looking for people to
help post threads, graphics, links, prayers, jokes etc each day.
Full or Part time help needed.
Pay = Knowing that you helped someone in the military know that they are not forgotten.

Credit to HiJinx for this quote.

"Each day we take some time to pass on a message of support
to our active duty personnel, their families and veterans.
Some of us spend hours on end in the Canteen, and others just post once.
Whichever you doesn't matter, it's getting the message out to those we support that matters!"

Good Night Blessing for the Troops. Thank you, ms feather, for all you do each day for our Military, and especially for posting Long Cut's wonderful picture of Patrol Squadron 30's patriotic display. Good night to you and sleep well. God bless you good. Stay warm.

Okay, ladies, poor Kathy needs snow. Whaddya say we put in a call to the folks who make these snow-blowin' thingies and see if they'll set some up in Anchorage?

I've been trying to blow some of our winter weather up to her but I can't seem to find enough of these to do the job.

The Marines Have Landed

These are wonderful pics of the Marines of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade as they arrive in Kuwait, SAM. I'm very proud of the young men and women who have volunteered to serve our country.

Whoa! Where was I Sunday? I didn't realize any tornadoes hit Florida. Tyndall AFB got quite a hit. I'm glad to hear there were no injuries or deaths.

Great Uncle George occupied a chair of applied electronics at an important government institution. He was attached to his position by the strongest of ties, and his death came as a great shock."

You're on a roll today, tomkow. I really got a charge out of this one. LOL!

Thanks, aomagrat, for today's history of the weird warship, HMS Furious. She sure did lead a weird life and helped test a lot of stuff.

Wednesday's weird warship, HMS Furious

She started out as a rather attractive ship. But oh, what they had to go and do to her!
