Bush set a course, Saddam has to show and declare all his proscribed weapons. What is so hard for Saddam to understand about that? We aren't going to go to war if something is accidently missed or paperwork is incomplete, all Bush wants is an honest attempt to get rid of these weapons. We would gladly help find and destroy them, we would gladly lend equipment to find lost weapons, we would gladly ensure the security of Iraq from any nation while this is happening. All we ask is that Saddam show a willingness to do this. We would even do the work. He has not and in fact has not even been neutral but has worked to hide the proscribed weapons even deeper.

What is our choice but to go and get these weapons? We cannot allow these weapons to find their way into the hands of terrorists or allow Saddam to blackmail the world with them. This is not a complicated concept for Saddam to understand

Good Clinton rant. If it makes you feel better, the Dem. Senators were repeating PFAW talking points that Sen. Hatch read (and de-bunked) the previous day. Also, yesterday Hillary and the Dems. brought a favorite leftist lawyer to advice them re. the hearings...the same law professor who told them to do nothing but obstruct after President Bush was elected.

Hmmmm? I think Powell's comment that for Blix to be ecstatic that the UN inspectors are now only being followed by 2 minders instead of 5 minders - is not a sign of progress. The camera switched to Blix - and he was smiling - and to me what that smile said was that Blix was glad that Powell had pointed out that point.

Hey girrrrl :) We're going in and everyone from the UN to Saddam knows it. Last week the Japanese Ambassador in Baghdad contacted all the Japanese in Iraq, about 100 people, told them to be out of the country by Wednesday.
