I didn't catch Rush today, but I like the approach you describe precisely because it is based on Republican principles: lower taxes, strong national security, rewarding hard work, opposition to drugs.

As far as I'm concerned your case is pretty weak because in no way was my post a blanket indictment of hispanics in general. It is a fact that we are spending billions upon billions of hard earned American tax $ and stealing from the futures of our children so that many illegal Mexicans can have a laundry list of "services" handed to them even though they've broken federal law as has any company that hires them. You may have a problem dealing with reality but I don't. Are we not supposed to be a nation of laws or not? It's absolutely moronic to have this idiotic double standard at work where some companies can pay minimal wages and evade a whole lot of taxes knowing full well that the SUCKERS aka TAXPAYERS will be taxed even more so the fedgov can provide housing, food, medical assistance to their employees. DING DONG!! are you awake yet??

Also, don't bring that lame crap into discussions like where you try to justify this illegal immigrant idiocy by spotlighting the case of a person like Mr. Matta who I'm sure is a fine gentleman. Clearly, you didn't understand. My issue is not with Hispanics or Latino-Americans per se. I will never make idiotic statemnts such as Guatemalans are better than Mozambicans - we are talking about people here, not dog breeds. My concern is with W's GOP, whose stand on illegal immigration is strangely similar to that of Clinton's Demo gang - get as many of them illegals naturalized ASAP so that they could vote for us. The result of which being that our beloved country is bound to join the Third World - culturally, economically and morally - a lot sooner rather than later.

I believe LS claims that people MUST break the law and hire illegals if they can hire them for $2 or $3/hr. They simply don't have a choice but break the law, given the circumstances.
