Prayer Thread for Yellow Rose of Texas - THIS IS NO DRILL!!
Posted on 02/13/2003 11:28:49 AM PST by TEXOKIE
Long time Freeper Yellow Rose of Texas has recently had an attempted back surgery during which her aorta, which was encased in scar tissue, was nicked and had to be repaired. In a previous prayer thread, many many folks have graciously offered their prayers and comments of encouragement to her. I spoke with Yellow Rose of Texas yesterday and here is the latest!
Her recovery to the previous surgical attempt to do the back surgery has been phenominal. She saw her doctor two days ago on Tuesday. She is doing well enough that he has scheduled her back surgery in a week for TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18, 2003. She had initially been told it would be a few weeks longer to recover, but she has amazed her doctor and he judges that she is ready for the next procedure.
Rose has asked me to thank you each and every one so very much for all your thoughts and prayers on her behalf. She asked me to quote her,
"Thank you so much. I feel each and every one of your prayers. The Good Lord is with me and my family. I dont feel scared at all. This surgery will stabilize my back and it'll all be fine. I feel so protected. I am hoping that this surgery will enable me to once more return to the freeping that I enjoy. It has seemed in my life that if something unusual can happen, it will happen to me. Please pray that the surgery be routine. NO SURPRISES!! LOL!!"

Thank you as always, for the update and the prayer.
Living in Tucson, feminazis are in abundance. LOL!! And AZ usually elects Republican governors, but by a fluke of campaign finance laws and other issues, we have a feminazi governor. UGH!!!

I join in prayer with you for sneakypete! Hugs!

Thanks so much for keeping us updated on our Rosie's progress. Great to know she's home. My first thought was ALREADY? Then I remembered who it was...our Rosie has always been able to make quick work of those hospital environments. LOL
Joining in prayer for good health for Rose and all who love her.
