It's interesting to remember that Jeff Sessions was one of the G.H.W. Bush nominees to the federal bench left unconfirmed at the end of President Bush (I) term. I would bet Dems were saying at that time that he was radical nominee and out of the mainstream.

Looks like people of Alabama thought otherwise and elected him to the Senate.

My mute just went back on -- there are certain Senators I will not listen to and Levin is right there on the list.

Sen Sessions is probably one of the most versed Senator on Constitutional Law that we have from everything I have heard him say in the Senate.

From the best to the one of the worst with Levin spinning!

We aren't going to lose it. The President is a gentleman but he has planted his feet. Don't forget, he didn't mind reminding her about shooting that $20M missle through a $10 tent and hittin' a camel in the rear end and he won't hold back this time if need be.

Thanks much for bringing that up about Senator Sessions. I had forgotten that happened! Senator Sessions was just overwhelmingly re-elected in Alabama so they know a good man when they see one!

He also has one of the nicest staffs in the Senate when you call his office!

I've been having trouble logging on for the past hour...where did the live thread go? :) What's happening now is pretty fascinating with Hatch fielding questions from fellow Republicans to make the case for Estrada.
