No, I had a phone call, then a neighbor dropped off a package that had been delivered to her house in error. I turned the TV off, couldn't listen to another word of it. Makes me happier and calmer that way. LOL I'm countin' on y'all to fill in the blanks for me. LOL

I have an idea of what the Republicans can read while they have the floor. Alberto Gonzales' response to Leahy and Daschle's letter demanding more information is priceless. Plus, it would get into the official minutes of this Senate. Here is the link (I don't know if anyone has linked it yet, so I will do it again).

President Bush realizes what is at stake here. I am so proud of him. Senator Breaux tried to make the case today to the Dem Caucus that at a time of war, problems with NK, etc, this was not the time to be filibustering a nominee...he lost. Hillary managed to get 41 votes on her side in order to continue this. It's really sad and I hope Hispanic voters really make them pay for this. Miguel Estrada is an outstanding nominee.

Sessions is kicking butt - "Democrats (Hodding Carter, under Pres. Carter) admitted that Democrat strategy was to appoint activist judges, to get by court ruling what they could not get through legislation. That is NOT how our system is intended to work."
