We have hardly had any snow this year, bad news for the snow pack, summer water supply, and hence, hydro-power shortages.

Gov. Gray-out Duffus will have another energy crisis, this summer. Count on it.

How'd y'all fare up your way?

If you ain't got a 4x4, don't even try it. We have 2' of snow and even with 1500 state plows plus zillions of private entrepreneurs plowing seemingly 'round the clock over and over again along the same stretches of road, it's still a challenge to get around. I loved it, though. I got out today and drove around. I can't imagine the financial cost this storm has caused -- big retail weekend and everything is locked up tight, even the shopping malls like Tysons Corner Center.

No sense of budget cuts here, the commonwealth and VDOT came through. I know it's more of a challenge west of me but I haven't heard of any glitches that wouldn't be understandable. Federal government, airports, and all schools and universities are closed again tomorrow. I don't know about the stores. It's been fun!

Happy birthday! What a way to celebrate a birthday with all this weather. I was hoping the President would've recognized your birthday with an appropriate bombing of Baghdad but, alas, it was not to be. D*mn french, UN, EU....

We got 8" of sleet in Innsbrook and another 1/2" of snow last night. It took an hour just to get out of our street yesterday. No sand/salt trucks have made it onto my street yet. Probably won't either. I am truly ready for spring.
