The same terrorist network operating out of Iraq is responsible for the murder, the recent murder, of an American citizen, an American diplomat, Laurence Foley. The same network has plotted terrorism against France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Republic of Georgia, and Russia, and was caught producing poisons in London. The danger Saddam Hussein poses reaches across the world. Bush to the countries in bold..."Once again we'll bail your girly asses out."

I found his statement chilling and made me nervous what Saddam is capable of.

I think that this was a "last chance to get on board" speech to the UN.

"The game is over...
Saddam Hussein will be stopped."
Dubya sounds like he has no doubts.
I believe him.

Now the Security Council will show whether its words have any meaning. Clear and blunt.
Very little weasel room here...

A Reagan moment on Reagan's birthday!
If W can turn around the economy like Reagan did, he will cascade into a second term and bring along 5-10 new Republican senators.
I pray for his success and in doing so, I pray for my success.

Just curious, was your choice of the word weasel intentional?
(If so...I like it)

All the world can rise to this moment. The community of free nations can show that it is strong and confident and determined to keep the peace. The United Nations can renew its purpose and be a source of stability and security in the world. The Security Council can affirm that it is able and prepared to meet future challenges and other dangers. And we can give the Iraqi people their chance to live in freedom and choose their own government. Saddam Hussein has made Iraq into a prison, a poison factory, and a torture chamber for patriots and dissidents. Saddam Hussein has the motive and the means and the recklessness and the hatred to threaten the American people. Saddam Hussein will be stopped.
Awesome.

especially because the last resolution 1441 was "now this time we really, really, really mean it" (add 16 more "really's" on to account for all of the resolutions passed by the UN which Iraq has failed to comply with) and the foolish appeasers simply want another resolution which will say "next time we'll really, really, really, really, really mean it" (with an extra 20 or so "really"'s added on)

I think that this was a "last chance to get on board" speech to the UN.More like the UN is already on board; at least the five permanent members of the security council which is all that counts. Bush is playing this like a fiddle.

"Iraq has developed spray devices that could be used on unmanned aerial vehicles with ranges far beyond what is permitted by the Security Council. A UAV launched from a vessel off the American coast could reach hundreds of miles inland."
This part is something I have never heard before and find it quite frightening!!!
