BREAKING NEWS: U.S. INTERCEPTS IRAQI TRANSMISSION TO ACTIVATE CHEMICAL WEAPONS IMMEDIATELY

That is correct. Saddam has sent orders to Republican Guard in the field to activate weapons that Iraq claim 'do not exist.'

Bush: The Game Is Over

Thursday, February 06, 2003 WASHINGTON — Saddam Hussein continues to defy the world, and now the world must take action immediately to stop him, President Bush said at the White House Thursday. "The game is over. The danger Saddam Hussein poses reaches across the world," Bush said, with Secretary of State Colin Powell standing at his side. "The Security Council must show whether its words have any meaning. The Security Council must not back down when its words are defied and mocked by a dictator." The president said the United States would endorse a second Security Council resolution, which would presumably declare Iraq in material breach and authorize the use of military force.

WHOA THERE!

I saw Pres. Bush on CNN live and he stated that the intercept was that Iraqi field Commanders had been given the authorization to use their chemical weapons in combat. This reflects the "decentralization" of command which Iraq has pursued to deal with impending loss of C3.

Tony Blair (after meeting with France) stated today that he expects NO vetoes of a second UN resolution to use violence to disarm Iraq.

If I were in Baghdad as a reporter or trader, I'd get out tonight.

Did you mean Traitor or trader?

This is just the usual press release. "We would support a second resolution..."

By all the fuss going on here, you'd think we were sending the troops in right this minute.

This is the last gasp of a desperate man. I'm not saying it might not be a devastating gasp. He's picked the wrong President to try this on, however. I hope that one month from now I'll be watching news footage of Iraqi citizens celebrating in the streets, holding up signs thanking the US and its allies for liberating them.

The president said the United States would endorse a second Security Council resolution, which would presumably declare Iraq in material breach and authorize the use of military force.

The above is what is confusing me. It sounds to me like they want to go back to the UN. I hope I'm wrong. I don't want SoDamn to devise a good plan.

I heard the speech on radio as they broke from the Sean Hannity show.

Our President was at his finest. GWB will still lead even if some anti-Amers wont follow.

Let Saddam use his gas.....just think, if he tries to gas Israel, we may not have to worry about sending US troops...
