BREAKING NEWS: U.S. INTERCEPTS IRAQI TRANSMISSION TO ACTIVATE CHEMICAL WEAPONS IMMEDIATELY

That is correct. Saddam has sent orders to Republican Guard in the field to activate weapons that Iraq claim 'do not exist.'

Ladies and Gentleman:

Prepare yourself for the potential of the first tactical nuclear warheads used in history.

If one or two isolated incidents happen, my prediction is we issue strong warnings while we vaporize large Iraqi armies with FAE, Fuel Air Explosive bombs.

If they use chem is an organized effort I see us immediately using tactical nuclear weapons on exposed large units...if they persist...watch out for Tikrit.

this news about field commanders being given permission by saddam to use chemical weapons was given out yesterday in powell's presentation, he did not put as much emphasis on it as dubya did today, however.

This morning I was listening to the man filling in for Rush. He had one of the Senators on the radio. (I don't remember either of their names, Radio host or Senator. Duh!). Anyway he asked the Senator if he had heard what Powell had talked about yesterday. He said yes and that "POWELL HAD ONLY BEARLY TOUCHED THE ICE BERG WITH WHAT WE KNOW.

Not every truth needs to be spoken.

Hey, it is keeping me relatively sane. Went to the local dollar store and got some of the cake tins with hard plastic lids, Walmart for cheapo potting soil, and got some seeds. 10 packs for a dollar!

I have other seeds that cost more, of course, but am planting them all up, with the prerequisite slits in top and bottom, and have all the seed babies out in the frozen tundra, and am callin them my "Freedom Seeds"...

I am hoping that by the time they get their first set of true leaves, that Saddam is fertilizer for some other homeschoolin mama's posies.

love ta ya!

"I'd like to hear the intercepted conversation in which saddam says that, and have it verified by an independent source - if there is such a source..."

Bush and Powell have already gone much too far revealing our intelligence capabilities. What did showing the photos and the intercepts to the UN do? It had almost zero persuasive effect on the French and the other wennies. Yet it showed the Iraqis how detailed our photos are and reminded them that we are good at phone intercepts.
It is time to stop the PR campaign and do what we should've done a year ago -- from high altitude and far away bomb them back into the dark ages (as though they've ever left?)

We need to Strike right now in order to keep the damage to civilians low. We won't though, not politically correct. We should have done it along time ago, and catch them so they can't counter attack with terrorists. I believe terrorists have the weapons they need right now. Timing is everything in war. We may have lost the window.

You mean Truman who gave half of Eastern Europe to the Russians? You mean Truman who let our military fall to pieces right after WWII so that we were hardly in any condition to fight in Korea? G.W. Bush is far, far better than Truman.

What a great idea you've given me, jacquej. I spent the day correcting papers, doing laundry, ironing and vacuming. Still have other things to do and am having company over for supper. whew.

Gardening and putzing around our brick paths sounds pretty good to me about now. :o)
