What a great idea you've given me, jacquej. I spent the day correcting papers, doing laundry, ironing and vacuming. Still have other things to do and am having company over for supper. whew.
Gardening and putzing around our brick paths sounds pretty good to me about now. :o)

Well, we have to do something for the future, and for our kids to remind them that a future is still there, and there is nothing like planting seeds in the middle of a snowy icy February to teach them that all things come to those who wait...
Go for it. Winter Sowing is so cool, and so cheap, with no lights, gear, etc. to buy.... I label all my winter-sown flats (after labeling the varieties on the side) on the botttom with a "Speedy" marker that says "Take this ! Saddam! I choose life, while you choose death"
Reminds my grandkids that there is evil in this world, and that we have to work to protect life, while we fight against the forces of death, even if it means some seedlings have to be cut short before their time, which is so sad...
