Good post. The choice is 1) US or (2 UN, that's becoming clearer by the day. Have you noticed that most Senate Democrats and mainstream journalists choose the UN over the US? Isn't that treason? It's certainly a failure, we could make the case at this point for a criminal failure of the mainstream press to inform the public. AP's non-profit status was in recognition of the importance of an informed electorate.
