How did Colin Powell do in his U.N. presentation?
* 28877 responses
He made a convincing case for the U.S. to attack Iraq with or without U.N. support.
76%
He provided some new information, but not enough for the U.S. to go it alone.

France: "Strengthen 1441" "OK -- bombing begins in 5 minutes. Strong enough for ya?"
Yup... that's about my idea of the situation, too.
Too bad my time/date in the FR start time poll passed about 15 hours ago... (made my estimate about 2 months ago :-)

Ren Hoek Lager? Ren and Stimpy make beer now?You eeeediot! :)
It's from Windhoek, Namibia, but very popular in S. Africa.

"It will enhance the abilities of the inspectors..." I just don't understand how anyone who listened to that chilling evidence can think that it's still about the inspectors.
I think we need that Freeper that posts the coalition flags to make his presence known on this thread (hint hint).
:)

"Pony up or we'll inspect some more!"Oh, gee. What a threat. I bet the French really scared 'em. [/sarcasm]

What about all the idiot Americans that take holiday in France. I just cannot believe these people when they proudly announce "I'm going to France for vacation". The travel industry should make sure this stops. Hey ... if they're dumb enough to go hang out with rude people that don't like them, so be it. ;o)

"It will enhance the abilities of the inspectors..." After the info produced today, I'd say if the inspectors decide to go back there, they have a death wish. They'll become human shields.

My son has already posted an angry missive to NBC regarding Williams stupid comments. As if Bush hasn't known for a long time about this stuff. (And then some!) It's why the Administration is doing what it's doing towards Iraq! They know the real threat that eminates from Saddamn and the links to Al Qeada. NBC Morons...

My thoughts exactly! I was fantasizing that at the end of Powell's speech he would say: In light of the facts in evidence and the documented danger to the free world, one hour ago coalition military aircraft and naval warfare assets began a sweeping mission over Iraq. . . .

Isn't
"for the possibility there are forbidden ammo"
Iraqi-speak for:
"Somebody set us up the bomb"
To: xsmommy
her voice and intonation is so irking the crap out of me, it isn't even funny. they are talking about iraq's capability to BLOW people up or GAS THEM TO DEATH and she sounds so offhanded and smug. You have to speak French with that intonation or they laugh at you for being a foreigner. She would never have been hired by the UN if she didn't have precisely the kind of voice that makes you want to give all the French an anal probe.

Brian williams...a splashless wake.
