Frankly, I think you should join their protest and dress like burnt-out hippies from the sixties. Paint peace signs of your face and hands and wear a bandana around your head. Be creative. Carry signs that read "What Are We Fighting For," "Give Peace a Chance," and the all-time overused favorite "Make Love Not War." Blend in, make it look like you are part of their protest and try to get on camera while playing along with it. Don't forget lots of "Wow, Man" in your speech and the good old "All we are saying is give peace a chance...." chant.
It is an old trick blending in with the enemy; and believe me if you do this you will do them damage. It will ruin the image they want to convey to the media which is that they of made-up of regular mainstream Americans. Which we know they are not.

As we get closer to forming a SF Chapter, (we will have a web site soon), and closer to Sunday, 2/16, the following from the DC Chapter, I think Angelwood is the author, is relevant.
RULES FOR PROTESTING
No violence, no threats, no profanity, no racism, no law-breaking.
Law enforcement officers must be treated with respect.
Stay out of the street at all times, except when using a crosswalk with the traffic light.
Do not block the sidewalk to pedestrian traffic. Keep your signs from hanging over into the street.
Do not block the signs of, nor get within 10 feet of, our opponents. Do not interfere with any media coverage of them. Our First Amendment rights are their rights, too.
Any arguments should be at 10 feet away to avoid conflict arising from passions on both sides. If you choose to get close to them physically, do so in friendship as fellow Americans only.
Do not give the middle finger, call people jerks, tell them to go home or get a job.
Take the high road. Be civil, but resolute, when you are cursed at or given the middle finger; point out the rudeness of the leftists by chanting, "Mean spirited arrogant condescending liberal."
Remember, we are here to support the rule of law under the U.S. Constitution. These protest rules have stood us well for the past four plus years and have earned us the respect and friendship of conservatives everywhere.
Thank you for standing up for America.

But you can't have spent very much time around the Bay Area. There is simply no way an individual human being can "dress up" like a stereotypical hippie and drone on in compete countercultural inanities to a degree sufficient to mock the actual hippie dregs that will be attending this event in their thousands. These people take stinky, badly-dressed, drug-addled idiocy to the very edge of reality and then leap off into the void. They can't be mocked!!!

Sign ideas?
"LEFTISTS! The BLOOD of Saddam's victims is on YOUR hands!!" (don't forget the bloody handprints).
"PLEASE DON'T FEED THE LEFTISTS"
"Armed Forces, THANKS!!'
"WILLFULLY BLIND, OTHER CORNER"
"SADDAM'S USEFUL IDIOTS, OTHER CORNER"
"GIVE SELF DEFENSE A CHANCE"
"PACIFISTS ARE FREEDOM'S PARASITES!"
"BRING A.N.W.R. ONLINE NOW!!"
"LIBERATE IRAQ"
"LEFTISTS!, Your NOT spitting on our troops this time around!!"
"GOD BLESS CAPITALISM"
"DRILL THE GULF"
"NO WAR FOR OIL?, CAN WE DRILL A.N.W.R. NOW?"
Just a few tired and true signs that have been in action here in Colorado for months now. Don't forget to always call them leftists. It drives em crazy since they can't call us rightists!LOL!
All the Best, have a great FReep!

My Algebra II teacher is going to be there on the opposing sideline (he's an anti-war Quaker pacifist freak)... I wish I could make it to San Fran to counter protest him and his buddies, but I have a conference to go to. Oh well! Good luck!!

There's already tons of these people (burnt-out hippies from the sixties) among the peaceniks, so we'd just blend in!

Does anyone know if the naked ladies will be there? Can we bring our buckets of icy cold water?
I may bring a white board, to provide instant responses to their messages.

For those of you coming from out of town, Bart is an excellent way to get to the city. Get off at Civic Center.I think I'll do that. Coming from Springfield (Santa Cruz County), I'll park at the Fremont station and ride into town with Pete Stark's constituents.
