This looks like a casting call for "Dawn of the Dead"
I have such confidence that the Bush WH team is the right group of patriots, doing the right courageous things, at this vulnerable time.
Folks, I can't even fathom the dismal prospects we'd face as a people depending on Al Gore and the soulless creeps he'd staff to protect and secure us now.
Thank YOU SCOTUS and Ted Olson. America works.
WVNan and jwfiv are having a grand time.
Although we ourselves are somewhat Beyond Help, we can help you keep awake those 30 hours..:))
I believe that President GW Bush's SOTU speech will be remembered & quoted by historians a hundred years from now! But it wasn't just the power of his words...it was his voice & how he used it so masterfully to convey the depth of his emotion & determination!
I'm engaging in Instant Messaging 3 times a minute with some of the most marvelous characters on earth.
I didn't do much business though, the supply of LCDs is short and the pricing didn't catch my fancy. But ... I cemented all my relationships, took and dished out a lot of crap and plaudits. That means everything to merchants in Asia and the Arab states. They love to haggle and tug, that's a sign of respect to them. I give it to 'em good. NO POLITICS THOUGH!!!
Glad you came to grace our Finest thread today.
While we at the moment are engaging in hilarity and general mayhem, we can spin on a dime to weightier subjects about the America we here love.
When he talks from a moral certitude, when he sees issues of imminent, compelling import ... he is 100 times the communicator that Clinton and Reagan were. Bush is steely hard and captivating. He's as good as I've ever seen. Maggie Thatcher had it too. When she leaned forward and rocked serious ... that Parliamentary hall of juvenile delinquents went stone silent and the LEADER of the UK was on the daius. Bush has that too.
Dunno - presume jw went to get him and got lost.
Shall we issue a 'Homer Alert" for them?
The time on my computer meter is due to expire soon, by the way.
Around midnight my computer will begin playing Dixie and then at the conclusion, automatically shut down.
I must then stand at attention and whistle the tune, and go to my room..:)))
