Pal you have touched on why I think international corporations are borderline treasonous elements. CNN would sell this nation down the river for free. It is by no means the only corporation to do this.

I'd like to see it's officers prosecuted, it's assets seized and sold off.

Actually it could be much simpler. Explosion occurs while you are working inside. All of sudden you can't hear, you were knocked down or against a wall, perhaps even temporarily knocked unconscious. Dazed and groggy, but sensing danger, your flight instinct kicks in and you flee outside, even before you can catch your bearings and think logically. All you want to do is get as far away as possible, you run until you tire(for many persons that doesn't take long) and you keep on moving, trying to reconcile and make sense of all that has just happened in the last moments.

That's why I don't think the accounts of persons wandering in the woods necessarily means they were 'blown' there. But strange things like that have happened before, so who knows.
