I've been trying to keep up with this thread, AFTER watching our President on TV...I gave up, skipped to this page and, thank Heavens, caught John's two cents.
Folks, I don't know if this has been discussed, but GW, Condi, Rummy all have a very intense seriousness about them. Even after the speech, when GW was walking back out, it wasn't the usual joviolousnes...(holy cow is that a word?). He's serious. Very serious. It sure puts a lot into perspective for me.
I could go on & on, but y'all are doing a fine job of that.....

Mr. Bush has a good heart I believe . He has a bold vision for the Republic I do believe . I see big media has replaced the jr; senators rolling eyes with the male who has killed more people than I have .

What a great speech! He surprised me tonight, but in a good way. I mean, we know that he is a decent, kind man, but in his speech tonight he showed even more depth and character.
I love how he talks about God all the time and how He (the Lord) can work miracles in a persons life and also (President Bush) reminded us that freedom is a gift from God for every nation. It is good for us to hear this. It's been a long time since we've had a leader who is so openly spiritual.
I like that we are going to help Africa too,( I bet that surprised alot of people) I'm sure there are some conservatives screaming about this, but I think it is a good deed (in the Christian sense) for us to do. They have such a terrible problem over there. We are probally the only ones who can offer any real help .
What he said about Iraq was both stunning and chilling. How could any one argue with his logic? Oh, but I'm sure the demacrats and brain dead movie stars will keep supporting Saddam.
Any way, WAY TO GO MR. PRESIDENT. WE THANK GOD THAT YOU ARE OUR COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

You only have about 5000 post to read.... good luck. Hope the recital went well as did the President's speech. His delivery was excellent, content sufficient, got the appropriate responses, and covered the topics that needed to be covered. He focused on several topics from domestic to foreign to WOT to Iraq...... Read and get some feel of what others are saying.
PS the Speech is being carried on C-Span as a rerun right now......
