Be sure and vote in any on-line polls tonight after the State of the Union. We cannot let the RATs win these polls! If you know of any on-line polls, please post the links!

Do not post from the lefty discussion sites. Who cares? Sheesh! Just a guess here PKMom, but I think JimRob doesn't want DNC material posted here. A vanity encouraging everyone to FReep the polls after the SOTU address is one thing, but posting the DNC's email full of idiotic propaganda and a link to their website is the kind of thing JimRob asked us not to do.

Unbelievable...the language of this is sooooo pathetic and negative. Slimeballs grasping at straws trying to haul themselves out of a putrid swamp.

A fake prescription drug plan written by the drug companies. As opposed to the one written by other drug companies for the Democrats? Hard choice...

I guess the DNC machine doesn't know yet that we have a president who actually leads rather than following polls.

Dear DNC, this is what I think: (^;
I feel something different about Bush, some kind of deep trust that he won't let us down, along with, in my case, a pretty strong belief in the principles of limited government and proud enterprise he is espousing. But Bush shows, I think, that successful politicians, like successful countries, don't have to court approval for everything they do to command respect for the principles that animate them. Yes, Bush, like most pols, has cut corners with principles along the way. But he has them, he hasn't lost them, and they remain a lodestar for the trials ahead. This is, indeed, an unexpectedly radical administration. And the stakes keep getting higher. If we wage a successful war in Iraq, the academic and elite left in this country, previously deeply wounded, cannot survive. They will be shown for what they are: defenders of everything real liberals should oppose. That, I suspect, is why so many of them are resisting the war so fiercely. They know that their fate is now bound up with Saddam's. What an irony. But what an opportunity to despatch both at once. - Andrew Sullivan, Jan. 26 2003

> > o More tax cuts for the wealthy.
A good thing, if you ask me. Tax cuts for EVERYONE, including the wealthy.
> o Social Security privatization.
A good start. Time to end the socialist ponzi scheme that is sucking my paycheck dry.
> o A fake prescription drug plan written by the drug companies.
Says you. How about NO free prescriptions for ANYONE. Time to end the socialistic redistribution scheme that robs my paycheck to pay for some old fart's Viagra.
> o Cuts to health care, education, environmental protections, and vital services.
I somewhat agree with their point in that they differentiate government's involvement with health care, education and environmental protections from "vital services". Good point there. And, anyway, it is time to do away with government involvement in these areas so cuts are a good thing.
> o A record breaking federal deficit, passed on to the next generation.
The same federal deficit passed on by Bill Clinton - you mean that one? Maybe if Democrat Sen. Daschle hadn't been obstructing the entire last 2 years of the Senate the Republicans and Pres. Bush would have done something about the Clinton deficit.
> o More environmental regulations scrapped, putting our air and water in danger.
Ooooo...scary. Our air and water are in DANGER. In the meantime these environmental regulations based upon crap science are destroying freedom, raising costs, and ruining small businesses and family farms. Scrap 'em all!

These numbers fluctuate and are nothing more than a snapshot in time.... There is much water to run under the bridge before the election of Nov. 2004. Even as the job approval numbers come back from their peaks of a year ago President Bush still beats any Democrat Challenger by some 17% according to the latest Zog poll of a couple days ago.
