I actually agree with you. AOL will put up their poll and before you know it 50,000 people have voted and then over the next couple of hours maybe 1,000 or more will vote.

They are useless IMHO. That said, I hate it when it goes against us even though I know you can vote over and over again!

I get e-mails from the RNC and all of them talk up what they are doing to improve the country. the dems are a desperate bunch, and desperate people do desperate things. It is unfortunate, but power is their God.

The Fifth Column

As our country
Moves towards war
The Democratic Party
Becomes a whore

Carville, Begala
Clinton's wife
McAuliffe's cohort
Sowing strife

Pelosi and Daschle
Satan's Orc crew
In order to win
Would destroy me and you

Lying profusely
No slander too small
If they can't have power
They'll betray us all

Useful fools
Across the land
Believe their lies
And give them a hand

Defeat them we must
Posterity's future depends
On what we are going
To willingly spend

Battle with truth
Lady Liberty's light
Like never before
May every patriot fight!

"Agreed with the person that asked me to get this up on FR that it was important for everyone to see what McAuliffe and the RATs were up to.

To me it is a wonder that McAuliffe still has his job. I think it is a plus for us.(a big plus)

"Be sure and vote in any on-line polls tonight after the State of the Union. We cannot let the RATs win these polls! If you know of any on-line polls, please post the links!"

There isn't a rational person in the world that gives one micro-gram of credibility to these phoney-baloney on-line polls. What a waste of time and bandwidth.

The difference is amazing between the two! And it is getting more different by the day with Chairman Racicot there. I used to complain about RNC all the time during the 2000 election cycle.

No more complaining out of me -- I am 100% on board with the RNC and their leadership!

> > o More tax cuts for the wealthy.

A good thing, if you ask me. Tax cuts for EVERYONE, including the wealthy.

> o Social Security privatization.

A good start. Time to end the socialist ponzi scheme that is sucking my paycheck dry.

> o A fake prescription drug plan written by the drug companies.

Says you. How about NO free prescriptions for ANYONE. Time to end the socialistic redistribution scheme that robs my paycheck to pay for some old fart's Viagra.

> o Cuts to health care, education, environmental protections, and vital services.

I somewhat agree with their point in that they differentiate government's involvement with health care, education and environmental protections from "vital services". Good point there. And, anyway, it is time to do away with government involvement in these areas so cuts are a good thing.

> o A record breaking federal deficit, passed on to the next generation.

The same federal deficit passed on by Bill Clinton - you mean that one? Maybe if Democrat Sen. Daschle hadn't been obstructing the entire last 2 years of the Senate the Republicans and Pres. Bush would have done something about the Clinton deficit.

> o More environmental regulations scrapped, putting our air and water in danger.

Ooooo...scary. Our air and water are in DANGER. In the meantime these environmental regulations based upon crap science are destroying freedom, raising costs, and ruining small businesses and family farms. Scrap 'em all!

I vote for keeping it too. This is in no way comparable to posting stuff from DU, etc.

This falls under activism IMO.

rintense - could you please ping your DITL list?

We need to help balance these votes after the SOTU speech.

Thanks much!
