Prayer Thread for longtime Freeper YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS

Longtime Freeper, YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS will be having some delicate spinal surgery performed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She has requested prayer support from her many friends here at FreeRepublic.

She wanted me to ask that no cards or flowers be sent. Instead, if you feel so moved, please donate to Free Republic or to some effort in support of President Bush's moves in the War on Terrorism. She also stated that there is a critical need for blood these days, so donating blood in her name would also be something she'd be grateful for.

Dallas and local Texas Freepers have her permission (and mine!) to contact me for particulars in freepmail.

Earlier today TEXOKIE said he would give Yellow Rose a hug for me.

Yellow Rose of Texas was one of the main researchers for the Chinagate Project we did a few years ago. My respect and admiration for her has no bounds.

Each day I get a bit stronger. The damage to my heart was a bit more than I thought at the time. I still hope to return to work in April if I can.
