"They are complaining that Gov. Bush has not removed her, but if he had removedher before, it would have been called a 'Lynching' "

Yep...Je$$e and his rent-a-riot would have been demonstrating on TV, amid screeches of "Racist Republicans firing black Democrats in order to maintain power illegally"

...No doubt it's too late for Je$$e or $harpton to cancel their flights to Florida...

Bet you a dime to a dollar that a mediocre, mid-level manager from private enterprise could run her department far better than she does on half the budget.

Top Five Reasons to Keep Oliphant as Elections Supervisor:

5. She is a Democrat and black and woman hated by the local Establishment Democrats, mostly Yankee liberals.

4. Oliphant’s "office is full of gay men ... who are sleeping together”

3. Oliphant is legally liable for the $1 million that was overspent

2. Broward county’s mayor, a Democrat, was disinvited from MLK parade.

1. She signs her name as Miriam M. Elephant.

The shredder must have jammed.

This will take some explaining.

Here in Broward County, the Supervisor of Elections is a non-affliliated office, kind of like judges.

The previous office holder, Jane Carroll, was a registered Republican who made sure things ran smoothly for years. She announced her retirement in 1999 and her assistant, named Cotter I believe, ran for the post. The Dems saw an opportunity to take over the elections office and put an attractive African-American dimbulb up against him. In Broward Co., the white Republican male didn't stand a chance. The Dems thought they had it made. What they didn't count on was the absolute stupidity of Oliphant. She came into office and fired most of the career people who knew how elections work, including Cotter. She replaced them with relatives (her mother) and friends (her sister's boyfriend) and other clueless individuals she owed favors to. When she realized she couldn't run an election with these bozo's, she hire some people with expertise, but didn't get rid of the deadwood. Thus the budget overruns.

I could go on, but lunch is over...

This is the smoking gun that proves that Janet Reno was robbed of votes during the September 2002 primaries.

Broward county is a Reno stronghold, and the overwhelming of those newly-found votes were for Reno.

Although Jeb Bush wiped the floor with the Democratic candidate McBride, it is very obvious how corrupt these Democratic election officials are. They stole votes from Reno in order to "elect" the Democratic Establishment candidate, McBride, who by poetic justice was as much a loser as Reno.

If there ever was any doubt that the 2000 presidential elections were being stolen by the hour, such doubts have been removed now.

It is a fact. In close election, these Democrats destroy votes, count non-votes as votes, and even are dumb enough to leave the proof behind.

" would hate to think that you are omitting the political affiliation of Ms. Oliphant in an effort to not show a Democrat in a poor light."

VERY well put, though if you get an answer at all, it'll be some sort of run-a-round that is meant to prove that hiding party affiliation shows that ALL corrupt officialy, regardless of party are not above the law. (facts not withstanding, of course)

The deficit in Oliphant's operating budget is going to be "discovered" to come from "voter registration" and "voter outreach" activities which targeted the black community exclusively. Maybe "revealed" is a better word, since officials familiar with the expenditures already know the answer. That's the holdup: Demo county commission imploding on an issue related to their own party's registration efforts.

Why can't I find this story anywhere on DU?

Because the GOP/Bush controlled cartel has set up DU as one sided and not the paragon of diversity and inclusion it strives to be in order to smear it as out of touch with the "true" Americans who are idiots anyway. [/sarcasm]

PS they of course lurk here, this story just went up in their Breaking news section.

ROFLOL!!

On the other hand, it's fun to watch the feeding frenzy when the Dems go after one of their own...and to read the stories of hypocrisy that follow when teh blood has finally started clearing from the water.
