State prosecutors have found ...about 100 ballots in a mail tray inside a file cabinet at Elections Supervisor Miriam Oliphant's Fort Lauderdale office during a search late Tuesday afternoon. County officials were stunned by the discovery and said it would likely be a key piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation of Oliphant.

The mere presence of the uncounted ballots is unexcusable, but I would like to read a breakdown of who the votes were for.

The Oliphants have an office?

Sounds like Elephant has some things to explain.

So much for "count every vote."
The new synonym for "hypocrite" should be "Democrat."

Given the in-fighting in South Florida, and that it would be incredibly stupid to keep such useless items in a file cabinet when one knows an investigation is going on, I think there is a good chance these were planted by other Democrats.

I had to wonder about military ballots as well. The RATs will stop at nothing to get their candidates elected.

Why can't I find this story anywhere on DU?
To: Grig
Isn't it amazing how they were able to write the whole thing without using the word 'democrat'?I was going to ask about that; from the Jeb quote, you would think she was a Republican.

We certainly know what to look for ... and not find.
Well, with this kind of consistency, at least we can accurate deduce the information.

I have signed up at DU in the past to have some fun. They prevent posters from posting new threads until they have a certain number of posts. I do not know what that number is, but I know I have never reached it.
Its not like FR where you can post a new thread immediatly.

" . . . from the Jeb quote, you would think she is a Republican."
Yep, the quote conjures of visions of Katherine Harris, but Oliphant is a black Democrat (which I did not know until I read this thread on FR).
To: Grig
According to the article, these were ballots during the September primary, when McAwful's people were anxious to ensure the defeat of Janet Reno.
