Oops. Oops. Sorry. Sorry.

Are we keeping a scorecard of how many things Iraq won't permit?
Time to do away with this nonsense of UN Inspectors and go after Sadaam. He is only stalling to buy time and countries like Germany are aiding and abetting him!

It's indicative of the extent of Iraq's willingness to cooperate and be "transparent" with regard to the requirements of 1441.
BLIX just sealed their fate.

Iraq will not allow U2 overflights because it might give them The Edge....

Ridiculous. As if Iraq could stop U2 flights.
And if we haven't been doing it all along, we are remiss in our duty to our soldiers who will have to fight on the ground. We have to gather all the information we can. - tom

Who really needs the U2 when we have satellites?

Agree 100%.
I was NOT comfortable with the notion that we had to have U.N. approval to take action, but I did understand the political reality, and thought President Bush played a masterful hand in his speech to the United Nations.
But enough is enough. To use a trite slogan...Just Do It.

I'm feeling dumb here. Do we have a plane called the U2? I thought Gary Powers got shot down in one of those 40 years ago. Wasn't the U2 replaced by the SR-71? Are those still flying?

Funny. Funny.
